Brilliant for its task
Wonderfully crafted. Remarkably packed (for the price).
This mount is perfect for the goals it is supposed to achieve.
Holds smartphones up to 7.5 cm width.
Makes your phone mountable to any "conventional" photo/video tripod/stativ/monopod.
Note:
The mount incorporates two springs inside. With both springs intact (immediately from the box) it is gonna be "hard on your phone".
Hint:
Unscrew the two screws, remove one of the two springs and keep it in a safe place as a "spare" for future use. When the one spring left working gets "soft" - replace it with that "spare".
Note 2:
The heads of the metal screws are normally below the level of the plastic, so the possibility of scratching your phone with those screws is next to none.

So far, so good, I'll be able to steady my iPhone.
I've completed my favorite hiking stick for our next trip to a redwood forest. Now, I can steady the iPhone for better photos, albeit low-res iPhone photos. Hopefully the spring that makes the mount adjustable will hold up for years. In any case, the price is so reasonable, if the spring wears out or rusts, I'll happily purchase another.

Inexpensive way to use cellphone on tripod.
Inexpensive way to adapt cellphone on tripod. Works great with my iPhone 5s. The only reason for 4 stars (wish I could do 4.5) is that the fit and finish could be a bit better. One of the thread need some force to get it straighten and smooth it out, otherwise work just fine.

So far so good, a bit of a tight fit for the iPhone 7 Plus. A great value in today's world, I appreciate the affordability and portability of this small device. I would definitely recommend this to others. It saved me having to buy a complete tripod.
