15.6" MobileStudio Pro 16 Graphics Tablet is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good ideal bad execution I've had my MSP 16 for a little over a month now and before I purchased it from B&H I didn't realize it was noreturnable . This device has been a nightmare. It' overheats and restarts even after all updates. When I first turn the device on the fan makes a really annoying buzzying sound and if you pick the device up the buzzying sound pitch changes. I'm an artist so it took a very very long time to save up for this thing and with all the bugs and headache I Don't recommend it. There's a reason B&H is not letting us return these and it's because most of the devices are bad and defective adn they probably don't want to deal with that. Sucks for us

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I recently purchased the 16 version and I've been loving it. I bought it so I could have a mobile alternative to use Maya and the programs in the Adobe Suite. So far I've been using Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, Maya and Mudbox and have not come upon any issues. The pen interaction is awesome. I had at some point considered an Ipad Pro or a Surface Pro, but I like the responsiveness of the Wacom way, way more. I loved the way the dial on the tablet lets you adjust brush sizes on Photoshop. Regarding 3d, I might just avoid rendering with this equipment, but will surely use for every thing else. Cons: It doesn't include a keyboard and had to get a bluetooth keyboard because of all the shortcuts I'm used to while working. It also doen't have a way to prop it up which is how I like to work while drawing. And of course, It's unbelievable that, at this point, Wacom has still not made any accesories for this equipment available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mobile drawing pad for Professionals I use this pad for illustration and when I'm traveling. I can finish work that I've started at my studio or vice versa. Things to take notice. This doesn't get bright enough to paint outdoors compared to an iPad. It's also heavier at 5lbs. I've used it for life drawing using painter 2017 and works great turned vertically. I haven't used the 3d features like the camera and software bundled but for what I do it's well worth it. You can use the art pen on this device but it wont give you the same level of sensitivity as the pro pen 2 and also when used with a regular Cintiq tablet like the 27qhd or 24hd. I'm hoping or waiting for Wacom to create an art pen 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tablet PC I've used This is the best tablet PC I've ever used, and the best 'Cintiq-ing' experience I've ever had. I opted for the i7 over the i5 solely to get the 16gb of RAM for my After Effects and C4D work. If you look at the specs for both processors, you'll see that they're the same besides the extra 400Mhz of speed (same number of cores, multithreading, cache size). The MSP16 is a huge leap forward from any other TabletPC I've used in the past 9 years for the work I do (I've had a Gateway, a Samsung ATIV, MS Surfaces). I've also had the smaller Cintiq 12wx and 13hd, and this is far more usable than either. The new digitizer and stylus are great. I'm already very comfortable sketching on the MSP, and a lot of that has to do with where I can go with it. It's just as comfortable in my lap as it is on a tabletop cradled in an old 3rd-party iPad stand at my house, at work, at a cafe, on a friend's couch... That versatility alone will ensure that I'll use it more often than the bulky old Cintiq 21ux at my workstation. The 15.6 4K screen is magnificent, and all my 2560x1440 27ers now look blurry to me. I was worried the high pixel density (282ppi) would be hard to work with, but the Windows 10 UI scaling has matured enough where I haven't run into any issues yet. Even at 100% scaling, I have no trouble reading from it. The resolution on the touch sensor is also incredible. At 200% scaling, I have had zero issues touching the menu items I'm reaching for. The fingerprint reader/Windows button is great and ExpressKeys are easy to discern in the dark with their silver bezels. Cons: There have been some issues with interaction, but it seems to be either an Adobe or a driver issue, as it only happens while running CC programs. The cameras and speakers are just adequate, but I didn't expect more. I have yet to get the 3D camera to complete an entire scan, but still trying. Also disappointing that no accessories are available yet. I'd like to get a 2nd charger and some more nibs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too many problems for such an expensive device It's a fairly descent device but has a few downsides It heats up very quickly, I expected that a computer at this cost would perform better and have a better cooling system. My Wacom pen started having issues after 8 month and now I can't use it at all because its stuck on press mode even if when I'm not touching the screen. Overall I'm disappointed from this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Serious Flaws, but still Great - Extremely heavy, but does not come with a way to prop it up (unlike previous similar items from Wacom, there is no stand -- nearly a year since announcement, and STILL NO STAND for it, very bad support, Wacom); - Half a year after release, they finally got the Drivers to work properly; if you haven't updated all your drivers since April or June 2017, you need to update them now -- very good improvements, FINALLY works as advertised.. I feel so bad that mine had issues for half a year until now. - The fans are kinda loud on the 16 at least, and its overpowered for 2D, so it burns through the battery very fast, usually I get 2 1/2 hours, which is terrible. Wacom should have had better/more intuitive power controls. You need to really study the power settings, and use 3rd party software (not Wacom) to power down your processor to save battery and lower heat. - The fans on mine BROKE... wth??? First the ball bearings started making a weird sound, then the fan was really loud and irregular. They now screech and I can't concentrate. Now I have to send the whole unit back to Wacom. If they charge me for this, i'm going to be very, very upset, considering the price of the most expensive model (which I bought). - The pen comes with very few nibs, and they are much smaller than past nibs, so basically you're forced to buy more nibs very soon for the pen. The new pen works great, but I can't really tell any difference from the old pen. Except: There are FEWER nib options. There used to be a cool nib with rubber in the middle that made it more grippy. Nope, no more. Now you only get 2 types. My last Wacome had like 4 or 5 types of nibs. - There is a lot of heat right under where you palm goes. That's crazy. Everywhere else on the entire unit, the thing is cool to the touch, but RIGHT UNDER where your hand goes, when drawing, is very high heat. Its just hot enough to be uncomfortable. Very, very, very stupid design. That designer should be fired. Ironically, the other side is perfectly cool. No you can't flip it around or you won't be able to use the buttons, which are very important. Lefties will be a little more comfortable. - The place where the pen is held... interferes with the USB cord. Literally you can have a USB plugged in OR have your pen stored on the unit. Dumb, dumb, dumb designer. Designer? Fire him! - The Pen holder is not like past pen holders, there's no stand. Its round, like a tube. It rolls around on your desk. Dumb designer. Fire the designer! And no way to stand it up vertically. It looks like a phallic toy. Very very odd. - There needs to be more air flow. The tiny slits don't do a good job. I think Wacom made the tablet itself look elegant, but they didn't consider basic things like heat flow. Oh yeah, and the heat blows OUT the same side your drawing hand is on, ensuring that its even warmer over there than it should be, not to mention the warmth of the unit itself. - There needs to be USB ports (at least one) on the OTHER side, not just your drawing hand side. Why would I want cords on my drawing hand side to begin with?? And what if I'm sitting in a way that I want my power brick to be plugged in on the other side, so the cord doesn't drape over my body? Really dumb to not consider this. Fire the designer. This is in no way an ambidextrous unit. - The power brick is insanely big in the MIDDLE of the cord (I hate that.. why don't they put it at the far side???) and the cord is slightly too short because of it. This means if you're plugged into the ground level, but working on your bed or higher position, your cord is too short, and the brick will hover in the air, being in the middle fo the cord length. Stupid. It should be longer cords, and since this is USB-C, it shouldn't even be a brick at all. Or at least give us an extension USB-C. Fire the designer! There is NO OTHER power cord you can use. Its not standard USB-C. Its high-powered. Wacom is the only one that has a supply for this. Which means youre completely out of luck if it breaks until you order an (expensive) new brick). - The screen is usable at 0% and I keep mine at 25% brightness. 50% and above is overkill, except in the brightest areas. But even 25% kills battery life like crazy. The battery should've been more powerful. And the screen is not that great. The resolution is FANTASTIC. But there is a lot of color shift at different angles and light bleed. I mean, it seems like a cheap screen. But I love the resolution. And its thin enough that parallax is not noticeable (update firmware for best experience and then calibrate your pen). - Except for the fan failure, and idiotic design choices (fire the designer!), the ENGINEERS did a great job and the unit functions smoothly and is a joy to use (nit-picks aside). I'm so disappointed that they are using cheap parts though to keep with Wacoms insane markup. The body of the device is solid. It all works well. But they clearly skipped quality control, cheaped out on parts, and were very, very thoughtless in the design process. I don't know who is the New Product Manager at Wacom, but that person needs to be more thoughtful. There will be a love/hate with this device. But ultimately, this is a serious laptop quality product. It works for what you want to do, while ticking up off just enough to be angry at Wacom. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 series is a good rival to this product. An Apple iPad does not come close, because the Apple iPad does not function as a full computer. You can run Photoshop (full version) and 3D software (real professional stuff) on the Surface Pro and the Wacom MobileStudio. DRAWING-wise, the MobileStudio will be the best experience, which professionals will utilize the small differences. Portability as all-in-one, the Surface Pro wins, is a real full laptop quality device, but its pen and other features slightly behind the Wacom. The Apple iPad is good, but not a real laptop quality device at all (its more of a simple apps device). 4 Stars if Wacom fixes my fans for Free (THEIR defect), because it does everything I could ask for in a mobile tablet for 2D drawing, plus some and everything else I could want except advanced 3D. 2 Stars if they don't (I'm really angry, this thing was expensive), it should NOT be breaking this soon, and anyway, the device is very poorly designed (although it looks good, functionally/ergonomically its a disaster fire the designer!).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor protection against humidity A wonderful device. But very poorly protected from humidity. The first month I used in Kazakhstan, where the dry climate. Everything was very good. Then I flew to Sri Lanka. I used a mobile studio only in the room where the air conditioner worked, and the air was drier than on the street. When I moved to another hotel, I kept the laptop in my bag. But despite the precautions, the screen went to the stripes, the colors are greatly distorted. I could hardly read the e-mail. After I returned to Kazakhstan. The screen recovered, but a few unpleasant stripes remained.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product and worth the investment. I really love how close drawing on this feels to drawing on paper. It's a busty machine that can handle even 3d tasks. If you are a creative looking for a replacement for your laptop, this is the one to get. It only has usb-c ports though, so you will need to buy an adapter to plug in any usb.
