Bundled together by B&H to help you effect a massively metal tone, this Ibanez 7-String Guitar Kit gives you an RGA732 RGA Standard Series 7-string electric guitar, a TC Electronic Mimiq Doubler pedal, a guitar stand, and a 1/4" guitar cable.
The RGA732 is constructed with a mahogany body for a rich, resonant tone, and features a 25.5"-scale Wizard II-7 three-piece bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, white dot inlay, and 24 jumbo frets. The neck has a thin, flat profile to facilitate speed and dexterity. The guitar is equipped with a pair of Quantum passive humbucking pickups which offer an accelerated bass response for fast tracking and precise articulation.
The Mimiq Doubler pedal, on the other hand, is designed to reproduce the sound of double-tracked electric guitars—a timbre popular on many a rock 'n' roll studio recording, utilizing an algorithm specifically coded by TC Electronic to capture the seemingly random and always subtle divergences in time, attack, and pitch that define the feel of studio-recorded double-tracked guitars. It gives you one-knob control over the character of your doubling, as well as a switch that allows you to choose between one, two, or three doubles.
Separately, these items are quite useful, with the guitar capable of delivering the potent low-chugging riffs characteristic of metal, and the pedal offering a way to reproduce a studio-borne double-tracked sound on the stage—one quite essential to the genre. With these two items, you have the ingredients to become a powerhouse on the stage, doubling the impact of your bottom-end heavy riffs. Also included in this kit are a guitar cable and a guitar stand.
