Designed for ease of use, safety, and reliability, the H400 3D Printer from Afinia has a small footprint, allowing it be placed on your desk, and is able to produce dimensionally-accurate plastic parts for education, design, and engineering applications. It features a build volume of 4.7 x 4.7 x 4.7", a layer resolution of 150-350 microns, and uses 1.75mm ABS and PLA filaments. Users may print their projects in an enclosed LED-lit print chamber that employs a HEPA 7 air filtration system that continually cleans the air within the enclosure of particulates and odors as the model is printing. The print bed itself has been factory-leveled, is heated, and utilizes auto-nozzle height detection. This 3D printer can be controlled locally using the color touchscreen display, as well as remotely using Wi-Fi connectivity. It is able to print using USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity and operates using an included 110-220 VAC power adapter. In the case that power to the H400 is interrupted, Power Failure Protection allows printing to resume where it left off after power is restored.
The Afinia H400 3D Printer is compatible with Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP (32/64-bit), Mac OS 10.10, and iOS devices, such as the iPad and iPhone. It also allows for custom temperature settings of the nozzle and heated platform, which allows for the use of materials other than ABS and PLA filaments that require different temperature settings. Also included is an external spool holder, a USB cable, one 500g roll of white ABS filament, a spatula, a pair of snippers, an Allen wrench and spare screws, an extruder wrench, two flex boards, two perf boards, a filament feeder tube, and a pair of gloves.
