question
Hi. I bought the Electric Ray E1 for my Canon 77D. Unfortunately you dont have a coupler for my Camera. So I bought a Dummy from Ex-Pro Canon DR-E18 LP-E17 Coupler and understood that the plug ist too big for Electric Ray E1. So need a DC Adapter. Can you pease tell me the size of a Gap-Plug 8,4 OUT. I Think it could be 1x 3.5*1.35mm DC connector, or maybe im wrong? And will you offer DR-E18 LP-E17 Coupler in the future?Do you have other suggestions for me what I can do?
The outer diameter of the output of iFootage Electric Ray E1 USB Power Converter is 4mm and the inner diameter is 1.7mm. So the plug you need is a 4.0mmx1.7mm. Not easy to find in both male and female barrel types depending on what you are trying to connect to. I bought the iFootage dummy batteries for Canon (LP-E6) and Nikon (EN- EL15). Both have the same measurements and mate perfectly with the converter. I had to look for these plugs because I wanted the flexibility to power the dummy batteries separately through external A/C power adapters in addition to the Electric Ray.

While using this in combination with a GH5, would the custom white balance work? with cheaper adapters, as soon as the WB set is pressed the camera reboots:(
We do not have the iFootage on display to test but the power source should never affect the camera's WB setting.

I am trying to setup a time-lapse camera on a high pole and need a power solution. I can purchase a solar powered battery bank but I would need something that can run and also charge at the same time. Is this possible? Just plugging in the usb to any solar- battery pack will not work correct? Something that will charge an IPAD or cell phone? Taking a photo every 3 min or so with a Canon T6.
That would depend on the arrangement of your solar powered battery bank. As long as it can provide a constant 5 Volt 2 Amp usb output for the duration of the time you want your camera to be powered then you can use this product with it.
I used my personal 28500mAh external battery on a single full charge to power my A7s(with no powered accessories) to shoot HD video almost constantly for 12 hrs using this product.

question
Can this be powered via a wall plug for the a7III? If so, which one do you suggest?
At this time we do not have a coupler for the Sony a7 III. Here is the one we have that we know works. Sony NPA-MQZ1K Multi Battery Adapter Kit B&H # SONPAMQZ1K.

question
Hi guys. Can I actually use other usb power sources like usb socket and powering this off a wall plug? Could it work and if it so, witch attributes should this usb socket (Plug) have? Like Watts and amps.Thank You and greetings from Germany
You can use most any USB power source. The output depends on the the coupler and camera you are using for iFootage matches the output to the needed camera input.
