Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best (only) wooden digital picturem I have been looking for a frame like this for many years - since the demise of photovu. Digital frames over 15 inches that are set like physical photos with a wooden frame and card border have been impossible to find - until memento. Great quality screen, straight forward setup with a good manual and video guides. Sits well with other real photos on the well and brings your digital photos to life. Photos loaded quickly for me over wifi - from both phone and laptop. The vertical field of view is limited, particularly from a seated position but a minor factor in what is otherwise a fantastic and unique product. Highly recommended.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from i wouldnt buy it again and i am debating returning it This picture frame is good if you are standing directly in front of it but the second you get ourside of the direct line and skew your viewing angle by more than 15 degrees the image becomes excessively dark and unusable. I dont inderstand why it does this, i can watch my TV from all angles but the picture frame goes black as tou go past about 30 degrees. Also, it is much thicker than the photos make it appear to be, and when mounted flat on a wall there is a slight tilt upwards (a slight tild down would make sense but tilting up?! I mean come on) and before you sai i did it wrong please be assured that i know how to hang a photo, television, coat rack, and so on. There are small molded feet on the bottom that hold the mottom out farther than the top, this could be fixed by placing something like a paint stirring stick between the mounting bar and the drywall while mounting, but then the whole thing would be sticking out from the wall about 3/16. I debated tearing out some drywall and framing it i to the wall a tad to make it sunk into the wall but when i took it down after being on for about 45 minutes i felt the wall behind it and it was rather warm to the touch, i decided not to sink it in because i was woried it wouldnt get enough air circulation and it might overheat. Overall impressions is that dead on, it looks amazing and i like that it is 2:3 ratio so there are no black bars along the edges to fit the photo form factor, but it tilts slightly upwards and if you view it from any angle pther than dead on, you will regret spending 600 dollars on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most impressed. Will buy larger one next time! I have been looking for larger versions of the small digital photo frame and this fits the bill perfectly. It does all it says it does and it turns off at night to save power. As a professional photographer, it is perfect for showing one's work and I may invest in a larger 35 inch version for exhibitions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept but bad panel I had high expectation and this is the only product in the market at this size. I like everything about the frame except couple of issues. 1) The angle of view. This is bad! If you put the frame on the wall you have to view it from same level as it's hanging to get real experience. If you sit down or even view from slightly lower angle the picture become really dark. I finally had to put it around 3 feet from floor so that the people sitting on the couch can see the pictures. Support team told me 35 doesn't have this issue. 2) It could not handle the contrast in some of the pictures I processed in my IPS monitor. It's minor issue. I could get to a setting that still live the pictures. Love the interface and how you control the pictures from phone, laptop or even desktop in the same network. The customer support was awesome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective Ultra-HD Digital Frame Once properly set up with quality images, this frame looks awesome. The app is fair bare bones. You can set up multiple playlists but there does not seem to be any option to schedule playlists (Monday playlist; Tuesday playlist or to set up a calendar). It does offer an option of a B playlist to play each day at night (not sure if this is timed or just whenever the room is dark). The automatic brightness adjustment works well to help maintain the illusion that you may be looking at a reflective print in a frame. But the contrast does decrease noticeably if you view from very far off perpendicular to the screen. The only way to address the frame is via Wi-Fi from the same subnet (no ability to remote into its IP address from afar). But once it is set up, I had hoped that it could be set to play, like in a public space, without the Wi-Fi as all the images would already be loaded onto the devices memory. But alas, they have a routine that automatically reboots the frame should the connected Wi-Fi signal ever not be there (not necessary--it would be nice to be able to turn this feature on and off). There does not seem to be any password security on the frame whatsoever... anyone who has access to the same wifi network can edit/delete playlists at will with the free app. While steps can be taken to manage this risk, the device is a little fragile in this respect. The software does provide an option to have the frame mounted vertically having the orientation set to portrait. However, the physical frame is not made to be hung in any manner other than in landscape mode (the firmware to allow this was likely developed after the hardware was spec'd -- perhaps future versions will make provision for hanging for portrait mode as supported in the app). So far we have only been testing this. It has yet to be installed with it's power access hidden (ideal).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, not great in portrait (vertical) orientation We've now purchased two 25 and one 35 Smart Frames. Loading photos over WiFi is a little slow, but tolerable if left running overnight. Image quality in landscape (horizontal) orientation is fantastic. However, the 25 frame is less than satisfactory in portrait (vertical) orientation. The app won't even let you choose portrait mode, but of course it's easy enough to rotate photos on your own and fool the frame. Then we discovered its limitation: very limited viewing angle side to side when in portrait orientation. The viewing angle is asymmetric and very restricted in one direction. The color balance changes dramatically. Knowing this limitation, the image quality is still very good. Also, the WiFi radio on the Smart Frame is a little limited, so make sure the frame is close to your router to upload photos, upgrade software, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an excellent product I am recommending to everyone. Since buying the Memento Smart Fram it has become the focal point of our family room. Displayed above the fireplace mantle, it is the first thing you look at when you enter the room. The sleek design fits in perfectly with our other artwork and the high quality of the screen makes all the photos look as if they were done by a professional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best on the market I really love this frame, I was a bit worried about the 4:3 aspect ratio because I mostly shoot 16:9. But it does a really great job of displaying most of my pictures. I love the that fact that I can manage the frame on my pc , since I have most of my pictures on my NAS. The ability to create and manage playlist is very useful and handy. Cons The frame is heavier than it actually looks While it has the best viewing angles I have ever seen on a frame, it does suffer from poor viewing angle in some situations.
