UniFi Controller
Packed with Features
Use the UniFi Controller to provision thousands of UniFi APs, map out networks, quickly manage system traffic, and provision additional UniFi APs.

RF Map
Use the RF map to monitor and analyze radio frequencies for optimal AP placement, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Powerful RF Performance Features
Advanced RF performance and configuration features include spectral analysis, airtime fairness, and band steering.

Detailed Analytics
Use the configurable reporting and analytics to manage large user populations and expedite troubleshooting.

Wireless Uplink
Wireless Uplink functionality enables wireless connectivity between APs for extended range. One wired UniFi AP uplink supports up to four wireless downlinks on a single operating band, allowing wireless adoption of devices in their default state and real-time changes to network topology.
For devices that support Plug & Play Mesh, this functionality is extended to allow multi-hop wireless uplink - so wirelessly uplinked APs can support uplink to other wirelessly uplinked APs.

Guest Portal/Hotspot Support
Easy customization options for Guest Portals include authentication, Hotspot setup, and the ability to use your own external portal server. Use UniFi's rate limiting for your Guest Portal/Hotspot package offerings. Apply different bandwidth rates (download/upload), limit total data usage, and limit duration of use.
All UniFi APs include Hotspot functionality:
• Built-in support for billing integration using major credit cards.
• Built-in support for voucher-based authentication.
• Built-in Hotspot Manager for voucher creation, guest management, and payment refund.
• Full customization and branding of Hotspot portal pages.

Multi-Site Management
A single cloud-based UniFi Controller can manage multiple sites: multiple, distributed deployments and multi-tenancy for managed service providers. Each site is logically separated and has its own configuration, maps, statistics, guest portal, and admin read/write and read-only accounts.

WLAN Groups
Manage flexible configurations of large deployments. Create multiple WLAN groups and assign them to an AP's radio.

I am not able to mount anything on my ceiling and would have to mount to a wall. Would this produce better coverage than a Unifi UAP-AC-Pro mounted on a wall? Thanks!
Asked by: Orton
The Pro comes with several different mounting options from pole to wall mounts. It will wall mount just fine. It will provide much better coverage.

I live with access to a guest wifi from business below the signal is pretty good but localized. Is this a help or something else from Ubiqiti....?
Asked by: Leo
This is really not the right tool for that job. I would personally try to use something with a more directional antenna to get the signal into your space like the Loco then either hardwire to computer or another access point.

I would like to mount one on my back porch to provide wifi to my boat dock. The dock is about 300 feet away from the where I would mount the AP. Is this too far? It says 600 feet. I just didn't know if that was accurate.
Asked by: Michael
I would run a direct burial ethernet cable to the dock and install this antenna at the dock or near the dock. That will give you the best performance. even if you just got half way you would be better off.

I have a Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-PRO UniFi Access Point. Aside from its form factor and its ability to be used outdoors, how is this different?
Asked by: Orton
Longer range, stronger signal, wealthier proof. We use them in stadiums to establish ad-hoc networks. Amazing!

looking for 2 non wired extenders for my hardwired AC-Pro , will these do?
Asked by: MAX
This will need to be at least plugged in for power. It is meant to extent the existing WiFi signal further in AP mode and repeat the signal with other UAP devices.

Will these work with a UAP AC? Also do i need one UAP AC on each end one to receive the signal and one to send?
Asked by: Todd
This would be a mesh access point. The number of units would be heavily dependent on the use case scenario.
