PolarPro H5B-2001 overview

  • 1Description

Red light is naturally lost in blue or tropical water, and the Polar Pro Snorkel Filter helps compensate for the loss. Snap it on directly to the lens of the HERO6 Black or HERO5 Black, and jump right in with it from 2-25 feet deep. It'll help you capture accurate, vibrant tropical colors.

    PolarPro H5B-2001 reviews

Snorkel Filter for GoPro HERO6 & HERO5 Black is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color Intensity! This filter fits our GoPro Hero6 wonderfully and it is a right seal. It makes the colors beautiful underwater in our pool. I cannot wait to see what it is like to snorkel in the ocean on our vacation to the ocean!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Falls Apart - 0 STARS I purchased the PolarPro Polarizer and Snorkel filters to use on a cruise I just came back from. Before even getting a chance to use either of the filters, the filter glass detached from the frames just by merely attaching to the GoPro. The adhesive/tape used is inadequate to hold the filter glass to the frame. I pressed the glass back into the frames and handling them with kid gloves was able to use them on excursions I had booked. With continued use the glass eventually came loose again making it undependable to use and effectively useless. The last thing I need to be worrying about when using my GoPro is if I'll lose the filter glass of a $30 filter! Considering how GoPros are used the glass should be held in by tabs or better yet a continuous lip. PolarPro decided to go the cheap route with inferior tape which is inexcusable. Looking around other sites, this has been a problem going back to at least January of 2017. Obviously PolarPro doesn't intend to resolve this issue and quality is just a side note to them. Look elsewhere for filters because these will disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Addition! Using the snorkel filter yields better colors underwater in shallow depths. It easily snaps on to the HERO5 and does the job. I can't say anything bad about it.
