Daylight LED Lamp with Tungsten Cap (35W) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light quality is good, fan noise isn't so good for video I like the bulbs. The quality of light is good. I like that you can relatively easily change the clear filter to a CTO filter. It's not 2700K, but it's close. The downside is that it has a fan in it. Which makes it a poor choice when doing video/audio recording. If you are doing stills, and you want continuous light, this is a good bulb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good light for the price The light gives good, clean light for still or video work. An external or shotgun mic will definitely be needed, as the fan cooling is slightly noisy (though thankfully narrow bandwidth). The light bases are a bit fragile, though-don't drop these lights (you'll break wires off) and screw them in somewhat loosely (you'll break the bottom of the Edison base otherwise). They take almost a full second to turn on after you've given them power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New life for my old CFL kits! A long time ago I bought some cheap CFL lighting kits because they were a quick and cheap way to get into video lighting. Years later, those CFL kits sit in a box in the closet while I use other LED lights because I don't like the color problems of CFLs and dealing with shattered CFL bulbs was always a pain. I tried ordering a couple of these Westcott lamps and I was astonished by the results. The output is much stronger than CFLs and they are much more color-accurate than CFLs. As for the fan noise that others have mentioned, it is noticeable on set, but isn't really a problem with a good microphone placement and audio setup. The fan noise will probably only be a problem if you're just recording with your camera's on-board microphone covering the whole room, in which case you probably have other problems you need to deal with anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After A Full Night, It's Still Only Warm I shot for several hours with this light inside a Westcott 28" Apollo softbox that had a diffusion panel installed. In other words, no air circulation. After several hours of continuously being turned on, at the end of the session it was only slightly warm to the touch. Amazing! 350 equivalent watts of 5600K daylight and a CRI of 95 inside a closed box and its only warm. A definite 5 star rating!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice lamps I have only used these lights once (I bought 2) and haven't tried the tungsten cap. I shot one food picture (a final, plus prep shots) for a magazine and found the lights to be bright, cool (what a relief from incandescent lights) and quite satisfactory. I was surprised to discover that they make noise - they have a little fan in them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color temp off The specs state the bulb is 5600k. I checked it with my color meter and another photographer's color meter we both got 4750k. That was after an hour warm-up. I use it to view prints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good light Very decent light output and yes the fan can be heard but not distracting in photo shoot. Will definitely buy the 50W or 60W.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loud I never thought I would say that about a light bulb. But the fan inside of the bulb is too loud. I hear it in my videos.
