Monitor both TX and RX data streams using the 10/100/1000 Copper Aggregation Tap from US Robotics. With this network tap you can help avoid SPAN contention which occurs when too many monitoring devices are being utilized simultaneously. The Copper Aggregation Tap also helps to prevent oversubscription in which ingress bandwidth is greater than egress bandwidth. To accomplish this the tap has the ability to combine both TX and RX streams into a single data stream for full duplex monitoring. Data streams can also be divided using half duplex monitoring allowing two ports to see full line rate traffic.

Additionally, this tap has the ability to improve network troubleshooting allowing admins to see both sides of the full duplex conversation while combining both streams into a single trace file. With plug-and-play support and auto negotiation this Copper Aggregation Tap can be installed into various network configurations with little to no setup required.
