will this work internationlly (240V)?
Unfortunately, no. APC Essential surge protectors only support an input voltage of 104 to 126V. The switch and internal components are only rated for 125V. I would suggest using a surge protector designed for the country its being used in. You could also just use a basic power strip (no surge protection or circuit breaker).
