The easy to manage, plug-and-play compatible JL169A HPE OfficeConnect 1850 6XGT and 2XGT/SPF+ Switch from HP is designed to be used right out of the box. Should any modifications be needed network administrators can manage this switch using a web based GIU to modify various network settings. This HPE OfficeConnect switch comes equipped with six RJ-45 1/10GBASE-T ports and two dual-personality ports each of which can be configured as either a RJ-45 1/10BASE-T port or a SFP+ fixed 1000/10000 slot. With support for SFP+ connectivity it is possible to take advantage of 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to connect high speed localized network devices directly to the network. In addition to enhanced network connectivity, this switch features a 160 Gbps switching capacity and supports up to 119 Mpps data throughput to ensure optimal operating performance.

Once configured this HPE OfficeConnect switch features a wealth of management capabilities from simple web based management to port mirroring, Network Time Protocol support, support for DHCP mode, and more. To ensure high priority network traffic reaches its destination in a timely manner, QoS controls such as traffic prioritization, broadcast control, and 802.1p/Q support are included with this switch. Network administrators also have at their hands a variety of security features including Layer 2 support, ease of use features, and more. With a 1U form factor it is easy to install the JL169A into an existing rack-mount configuration to quickly and effortlessly expand the capabilities of your network.
