Really Right Stuff LCF-41 FOOT overview

  • 1Description

Precisely machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum, the Really Right Stuff LCF-41 Foot will replace the original foot of a Canon EF 200mm f/2L IS USM lens and provide an extremely durable and stable platform for your lens. The foot incorporates an Arca-type compatible dovetail that allows users to enjoy a lower profile and lighter setup. Also, the foot will balance properly even when using a professional camera body and a teleconverter. The bottom of the foot features a standard 1/4"-20 accessory thread and it comes with two safety-stop screws to prevent the foot from accidentally sliding out of some clamps. Additionally, it is made in the USA.

Really Right Stuff LCF-41 FOOT reviews

LCF-41 Foot for Canon 200mm f/2L Lens is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have for This Lens This upgraded foot is a must have for your lens. This and a good mono pod with a tilt arca-compatible head. This foot also makes for a better carrying handle when facing up. I bought one for my 100-400 as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would highly recommend this replacement foot. I hand hold the Canon 200mm F2 with a 2x extender, the larger foot rail is easier to hold. Works great with the Wimberly pano on a tripod. I am very pleased I purchased this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A necessity if you shoot with Arca Swiss/RRS ball heads RRS products all scream quality, and this foot (albeit simple and somewhat expensive for what you get) is no exception. It's high quality and was easy to install in the place of the foot that comes with the large lens. Im very happy that B&H is now carrying RRS, but I was disappointed with this order -- not because of the item itself (thus, still 5 stars) but because of the process. I have been ordering directly from RRS for years and have the choice to send my purchases as fast or slow as needed. Granted, I have to pay for shipping with RRS (it's not free like with B&H), but they don't charge tax to most states. The cost difference is a wash. It took days for B&H to place the order, and then the small envelope shipped in the slowest option possible from the west coast to east coast. I really needed the foot for a big shoot and it took too long to arrive. I share this in hope that B&H can find a solution -- perhaps offering different shipping choices so that we know what we are getting into when we make a purchase. It would have cost the same and saved me a full week of waiting to order directly from RRS.
