Really Right Stuff PC-Pro Overview

The PC-PRO Round Panning Clamp from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible, dovetail-equipped, 360° panning base that features an Arca-type clamp equipped with a screw-knob.

A useful accessory for panoramic and landscape photographers, the PC-PRO base allows the user to rotate their camera 360° on top of a tripod, ball head, or other support. The base may be attached to a support or Arca-type ball head via the integrated Arca-type dovetail, a 3/8"-16 threaded socket, or a 1/4"-20 threaded socket. The base also features a rosette design for secure mounting to compatible ball head and other device, and will prevent twisting at the coupling point between the clamp and head over time. A legacy tongue-and-groove adapter is available separately.

When in use, the rotation of the mounted camera may be accurately monitored via a laser engraved degree scale which features markings in 2.5° increments. When the photographer decides on a stopping point the rotation may be locked by an integrated screw knob. The clamp also features a diameter of 2.9", a total height of 1.4", and includes a single bull's-eye bubble level for accurate leveling.

I've always struggled creating a panorama before this clamp. It's easy to use with quick release.

It requires R-Mount, and no adapter in box

This part cannot be installed on my current BH-55 ball heads. ... It requires R-Mount and no adapter in box. RRS changed their design and doesn't consider all existed customers who do not have R-Mount RRS stuffs on hand so far. Disappointed!

The Really Right Stuff PC-PRO Round Panning Clamp with Screw-Knob Release (B&H# REPCPRO) features each a 3/8"-16 threaded socket and a 1/4"-20 threaded socket on the underside which may be used to mount it on top of many ball heads. Having said that, since the 3/8"-16 female thread is more centrally located, we'd prefer to use that specific female thread and to add an adapter such as this if you want to mount it on a male 1/4"-20 thread: Oben 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing (B&H #OB1039) https://tinyurl.com/5xpnkf48

While we're not aware of any tests where the PC-Pro Round Panning Clamp with Screw-Knob Release was used on the Peak Design Travel Tripod, they should work together easily.

This rrs clamp work with Manfrotto tripod?
Asked by: vikas
I use it on a Manfrotto tripod. You can unscrew the ball head from the tripod and screw the panning clamp in place of the ball head, or better yet, you can replace the mounting plate on the pan head with a RRS quick release and clamp the panning clamp onto the pan head.
