Really Right Stuff PC-LR Round Panning Clamp with Lever-Release Release

The PC-LR Round Panning Clamp from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible dovetail equipped, 360° panning base that features a lever-release equipped Arca-type clamp.

A useful accessory for panoramic and landscape photographers, the PC-LR base allows the user to rotate their camera 360° on top of a tripod, ball head, or other support. The base may be attached to a support or Arca-type equipped ball head via the integrated Arca-type dovetail, a 3/8"-16 threaded socket, or a 1/4"-20 threaded socket.

When in use, the rotation of the mounted camera may be accurately monitored via a laser engraved degree scale which features markings in 2.5° increments. When the photographer decides on a stopping point the rotation may be locked by an integrated screw knob. The clamp also features a diameter of 2.9", a total height of 1.4", and includes a single bull's-eye bubble level for accurate leveling.

question

Will this attach to a Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ2 ball head?
Asked by: Randy D.
unfortunately the MHXPRO-BHQ2 uses a quick release style plate and would not be compatible with the Arca-Style attachment of the Really Right Stuff Pano Elements Package with Lever-Release. Any Arca-style compatible head would be better suited.

How does one determine what slide is best for ...

How does one determine what slide is best for which camera-lens combinations? For example, would the included slide work with a Canon 6D M II with a 16-35mm lens attached as well as with a 70-200mm or 100-400mm attached (the latter with collar and feet)? ... with a plate attached to the tele feet?
