Libec TH-Z-H Tripod System Overview

Provide stable support to your small camcorder, DSLR, or mirrorless camera with the Libec TH-X Tripod System. Mounted atop a two-stage (3-segment) tripod with a 65mm bowl, the TH-X head provides a sliding balance platform for optimal pan/tilt performance for loads up to 9 pounds. The drag and counterbalance are fixed, and both the pan and tilt can be locked. Rosettes on either side of the head can hold the pan bar for right and left-handed operators.

While the 65mm ball base offers quick-leveling capabilities when used with a tripod, it has a trick up its sleeve. The bottom of the base is flattened and has a 3/8"-16 thread in the center, enabling it to be secured to flat-mount accessories such as sliders, jibs, and more without unwieldy bowl adapters.

The included tripod offers a 30-62" height range for both lower and higher-angled shots. Thumbscrew-tightened leg sections secure the tripod, and the mid-level spreader provides stability and quick operation, even on uneven terrain and flooring.

What is the weight limit of the legs alone? If the head is removed could you mount a 25lb jib arm?
Asked by: Zachary
The manufacturer does not publicly list a weight capacity on these legs individually, but we would not recommend using these legs with a device that weighs 25lb.

Is there a recommendation for some good suction cups that I can use with such a tripod? (I got 3 cats, they like to play with everything, I don't want to see my camera on the ground ;)
Asked by: Hetz
I am sorry to say we do not have suction cups for tripods like this. Your best option would be to fold up and store the tripod when not in use.

The Specs for the Libec TH-X Head and Tripod System are the following. Maximum Height 62.6" / 159 cm Minimum Height 29.7" / 75.4 cm Folded Length 29.7" / 5.4 cm I would suggest the Manfrotto Befree as a smaller packable tripod solution. which is about 15 inches when closed. https://bhpho.to/3LUKUXV

This tripod has a 9 pound load capacity and the remote accepts LANC protocols. It will work with any camcorder that is 9 pounds or below and has a LANC connection. LANC is found on a wide variety of Sony and Canon Professional Camcorders.
