question

Does this come with a lens hood, cap and back cap?
Asked by: Paul R.
While the lens includes both a front and rear cap, a lens hood is not included. A suitable option to fit this lens is the Sensei PRO 49mm Aluminum Lens Hood B&H # SELHM49, which screws into the filter thread.

question

Does the camera's focus confirmation system work with this lens to verify focus?
Asked by: Timothy
You would change the Fuji setting for Shoot Without Lens to ON. This allows the Focus Peaking feature to work.

As this lens is still only available pre-order, and a special order item we do not have it available to test these specific options.

When will the hoods for these lenses be available, and at what cost?

I can partly answer my own question - according to a review on Leica Rumors, the first designs of the hoods were poor, and they have been redesigned.
