Excellent battery grip

I use this battery grip on my Hasselblad H5D camera. With three of my lenses that means the camera/lens combination is at least 8 lbs. Though I always and only intend to use this camera on a tripod, I am still really impressed how beautifully this grip/battery makes it to hold this camera, despite the weight. It is very impressive engineering.

Works very well, but the plastic battery contact cover did not arrive with the battery.

It is what it is

To my knowledge, there's no third-party battery option for the Hasselblad ... but the battery life is good. I do about 4 or 5 -- sometimes 7 -- hours of heavy use on one battery. For an interior or architecture, seems to last just as long even when we're not shooting as much as say a portrait shoot.

Better Battery

This Battery at 3200mAh will last obviously longer than the 2900mAh. Why buy the older battery?

Great handle grip/battery but needs to last longer and is costly for a “battery” that doesn’t last long -

To charge this battery you will need the BH # HABC72 Ac cable. This unit standardized the voltage to protect the battery. The charger also comes with adapter plugs for use in North and South America, the UK and other parts of Europe, and Asia and Africa.

question

i have a charger for the 1850mah battery grips, but how would i charge these? it doesnt look like theres a port for the plug. Im using a h1 with 9.5.2 firmware. thanks!
Asked by: Anonymous
Dear Shopper,Insert the jack plug from the battery charger into the socket on the inside (opposite side of the image shown) of the battery grip. The battery charger is a standard (100240V/5060 Hz) domestic socket, and will work with the 1800, 2900 & 3200 mAh batteries. It can take about 6 hours to charge the battery completely up to 100% the first time.
