Play audio from nearly any device with the pair of gloss black Kanto Living YU4 2-Way Powered Bookshelf Speakers. They feature an RCA, 1/8" mini, and two optical TOSLINK inputs, plus built-in Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. The RCA input can function as either a line-level or phono input via a rear-mounted switch, and a ground terminal is onboard to attach to your turntable. A 5V USB port is also built-in to keep your phone charged during playback. Each speaker has a 4" Kevlar woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter to produce a total RMS output of up to 70W. YU4 2-Way Powered Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Gloss Black) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp, lovely sound with stylish presentation Reviews were somewhat limited so I used reference reviews on the Yumi models as my benchmark. I rolled the dice and am excited to say I'm thoroughly impressed with these guys! Bass extension is better than I'd anticipated and the audio is crisp with vocals really coming through clearly. They're slowly opening up and I'm getting a little more mid range coming through. Thus far with perhaps 10 hours on them, acoustic pop, jazz and rock really shine. My Audio Technica turntable sounds great, really reminding me how much I'd missed my vinyl (tested Def Leppard - Pyromania, Freddie Hubbard - Straight Life, Jack White - Lazaretto). As a note, poor quality audio has been less than stellar so do keep that in mind. The biggest asset for most will likely be the input flexibility, but vinyl heads with limited space will enjoy them I feel. Second may be their look and feel. The unboxing experience is excellent, both speakers protected in cloth sleeves. In your hands, they're sturdy and refined with a good weight. Additionally, the built in DAC for your digital inputs sounds great, though I may try my Schiit Modi out of curiosity. My configuration is Toslink out of my desktop computer (ASRock X99M F4tality) and Audio Technica LP1240 (with Shure M97x) mainly. Bluetooth testing has been very limited and at rather low volumes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hosa Toslink to the rescue Another great value for me, Hosa hasn't let me down. I'm running directly out from my X99 Asrock motherboard to my newly acquired Kanto YU4 active speakers. No fuss, just clean and crisp audio. Be sure to check your lengths! These came in 5' and 10' lengths as I added to cart fully assuming I'd be receiving at 2 meter long cable initially and ordered the 5' model, no fault on Hosa completely on me. Outside of that difference from competitors, another phenomenal product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good I'm using those as computer speakers in my office. I used to have a 2.1 system but the sound from those is so much better. The remote is great and allows you to switch between sources, skip tracks (for bluetooth), adjust bass an trebble.
