This 0.5x, 2MP Telecentric Lens in C-Mount for 2/3" Sensors from Computar is designed for machine vision applications and incorporates a port for a coaxial lighting fixture (not included). It is a fixed focal length lens that resolves an image on 2/3" cameras with 2 megapixel sensors, and incorporates a C-Mount. Featuring a minimum working distance of 4.4", while providing a 0.5x magnification, the lens has low corner distortion between 0.01 to 0.03%.

Telecentric lenses are designed so that the light exiting the rear element is perpendicular to the sensor. Non-telecentric lens designs allow the light to strike the sensor at an angle, which can lead to vignetting at the edge and corners of the sensor. The telecentric design of the lens minimizes vignetting.
This lens incorporates a port for a coaxial lighting device (not included). This setup enables you to illuminate the target area from the position of the lens itself, as opposed to setting up lights adjacent to your target.
