CyberPowerPC PVP3020LQ overview

  • 1Description

The Gamer Panzer Desktop Computer from CyberPowerPC is built for users looking for a hefty system capable of tackling demanding games at their best. Powered by a 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7-7700K Quad-Core processor and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5X VRAM, it can handle everything from everyday tasks to gaming at high-to-ultra settings. Furthermore, you can connect multiple displays using its DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs for a multi-monitor setup. Its 32GB of 3000 MHz DDR4 RAM lets you efficiently multitask and can be upgraded to a max of 64GB by replacing the pre-installed modules.

For storage, it's equipped with a 240GB solid-state drive and a 2TB 7200 rpm hard drive. Should you need more room, you can connect external storage solutions using its multiple USB ports or install your own storage drives. Connect to the Internet using 802.11ac Wi-Fi or the Gigabit Ethernet jack for a more stable and reliable wired connection. The operating system installed is Windows 10 Home (64-Bit), and it comes with a USB gaming keyboard and mouse, so you can get started right out of the box.

Windows 10

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.

    CyberPowerPC PVP3020LQ reviews

Gamer Panzer Desktop Computer is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome gaming PC - I recommend it! Great PC for the money. Sleek design, nice glass panel, great specs! Easy to setup and includes everything you need to get gaming quickly (except for the monitor). Has great hardware that will run any game out there with ease. Looks great. Windows key a little confusing at first because documentation says there is a sticker on the side, but it actually wasn't needed. Keyboard and mouse that come with it are sufficient for my needs, however I am not a professional gamer. Considering the price point for the features of this PC, I'd definitely consider another CyberpowerPC in the future. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Customer Service is the Worst This computer was purchased at the end of March for my grandson for gaming and his college work. While it worked, it was great. However, it failed completely after about 6 weeks. After several phone calls, the company finally sent a pre-paid return label. Now, another 7 weeks later, it has completely failed again. So far we have made 4 phone calls, to no avail. I was asked to send the invoice, which I did. I was promised a return label twice, but I don't have one. When I call, I am told there is a delay but am not given a reason for it. This is an almost $2000 computer and we expect it to work for longer than a month or two. They did offer to send us parts to install ourselves, but we are afraid that will void the not-so-great warranty. If the computer works, you'll love it. If it doesn't, good luck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it!! I have used this desktop for 2 weeks now. It has been working perfectly so far. The fan was very quite and the cooling system is great. It's a great gaming desktop although I wished that it has an optical drive. Also keep in mind that this one doesn't have built in wifi, only ethernet works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price for what you get I was going to update my existing PC I built myself but even though I planned to reuse my tower and power supply I could not rebuild for less than I spent on this. The components that they are using are the cheapest versions available so if you are a overclocker looking for top scores then this isn't for you. If you consider yourself a gaming enthusiast this will give you great frame rates at max settings on any monitor under 4k. IMPORTANT NOTE THIS PC DOES NOT HAVE WIFI AS ADVERTISED. If this matters to you there are wifi cards available for $10-$15 that will connect you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great overall performer Had a little snag upon arrival as no mechanical hard drive was showing up, but I called Cyberpower's customer support and they walked me through finding and fixing a loose connection. Otherwise, I've been very happy with its performance. Also, there's many different comments about WiFi capabilities; it does have them, but you might have dismal performance until you realize you must install the small antennae. Not sure if I just missed this in the setup instructions or for some reason it's left out, but either way, crucial!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST PREBUILT DESKTOP YOU CAN FIND I have spent hours online trying to find and buy individual components to build my own PC. And when I came across this product, it was a shock because at this price point, honestly you are paying almost just component price itself. I was surprised how these guys managed to fit all these amazing specs at this price point! Comparing the EXACT same specs to other big named companies like razer, alienware etc. you would pay double, triple the price. Hands down, best deal you will get for your buck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Gaming PC I absolutely love this machine! It's so quiet, and I'm running all of my games on their top graphic settings. The construction is top notch. You can't go wrong with this one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It doesn't work! From my brothers experience it work like heaven but he had to repair it after two months. So if your looking for a computer that works don't buy this one.
