You can capture beautiful photos and videos at 197' beneath the surface with your Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera, thanks to this dedicated Nimar Underwater Housing. It features a moisture alarm that alerts you right away in the unlikely event of a breach in the housing's waterproof seal. A manual, 5-pin Nikonos bulkhead connector enables the attachment of optional external strobes via sync cords.

Mechanical push-buttons, dials/knobs, and levers give you access to virtually all camera functions, including shutter, video recording, live view, mode dial, multi-controller, and AF point selection, and a removable eyepiece with 1.5x magnification helps you compose shots through the camera's viewfinder. The ergonomic side grips improve balance and handling underwater, while providing T-mounts for optional lighting arms. This housing ships without a required lens port, and its bayonet mount accepts interchangeable flat and dome ports for various lenses. For full compatibility details, check out the list below.

Built for durability, the housing is constructed from corrosion-resistant Bayer Makrolon polycarbonate. It's black on the front, top, and sides, but clear in the back to allow you to monitor the O-ring seal and camera.

question

Can the 5D mark iii, 5Ds and 5Dsr be used with this housing?
Asked by: jamal
No, this dedicated housing is only sized, shaped, and drilled to fit a Canon 5D Mark IV DSLR camera. Any other camera likely wouldn't fit properly and would lose access to many of the buttons and features necessary to use the camera underwater.

question

Is this housing specifically for the 5D Mark IV or can other versions of the 5D line such as the Mark III, 5DS and 5DSR be used with it?
Asked by: jamal
This housing, as with most underwater housings, is made only to fit and function with the Canon 5D Mark IV. Any other cameras likely will not fit, as they do not have the exact same size, shape, or button layout.
