A super wide-angle prime designed for Canon EF-mount DSLRs, the SP 14mm f/2.4 from Rokinon pairs an advanced optical design with simple, intuitive handling. Incorporating 18 elements in 14 groups, this lens utilizes a series of aspherical, low dispersion, and high refractive index elements to reduce color fringing, aberrations, and distortions for sharp, clear, and color accurate imagery. An Ultra Multi-Coating is also featured, as well as a built-in lens hood, to suppress lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast when working in bright, direct lighting conditions. Complementing the imaging assets, a manual focus design is employed that permits working with subjects as close as 11" away, and the aluminum-alloy housing is both lightweight and durable to support working in a variety of conditions.

Rokinon SP 14mm f/2.4 Reviews
Great, but had problem one.
I purchased this based on good reviews. One feature of the lens is that infinity is already set as the full stop on the focus ring. My first one did not get all the way to infinity at the full stop so my shots were not quite in focus. I exchanged it with B&H and my second one is amazingly sharp at the full stop. I really like this one.
Great in the Corners
Finally....a super-wide lens for Astrophotography that has minimal astigmatism and coma in the corners. Better in the corners than my Nikon 14-24mm f2.8, Rokinon 24mm f1.4 and Nikon 20mm f1.8. And, first lens received was a keeper, is Rokinon (Samyang) quality control getting better?
Nice wide angle.
A little more distortion than advertised. but okay.
Good Lens for the money
I have the F-mount version and use it with a Nikon D750. I purchased this as a low cost lens mainly for astrophotography. I have been quite pleased with its performance. I prefer it to the Nikkor 20mm f/1.8 that I have also used. I find it to be quite sharp. It doesn't have a lens correction adjustment for Lightroom, but it isn't too bad anyway. I included a couple of my favorite photos with this lens over the last year and a half. I would recommend this lens for astrophotography and landscape.
Loved this lens. Used in Iceland all last week.No distortion. Sharp. Photos later.
Fun lense for the right situation.
I should start with the fact that I am a novice photographer, so my review should be taken with a grain of salt. I purchased this lense and coupled with my D750 to capture my Hawaiian vacations pics, it did an amazing job. Hawaii is a pretty easy place to get amazing pictures but I was impressed with the sharpness and quality it provided in landscape and astro-photography shots. There is some distortion at the corners, as you would expect from a wide-angle lense. However, even at 14mm the distortion is minimal when compared to that of similar fisheye lenses. I would recommend it based on results.
So far I like it!
This is of course a much more expensive lens than the well known Rokinon/Samyang 14mm 2.8. I'm impressed with the clarity and build so far. We'll see how it holds up.
Though, there are some minor issues when focusing close to its minimum shooting distance, the lens are super sharp from f2.8. This lens are probably slightly better in the corners compared to another excellent wide angle lens by Tokina - Firin 20mm f2.0. I own both lens. I tested the SP 14mm lens on both Canon 5Ds R and Sony A7 III with the Metabones EF to E adapter. The attached picture is taken on Sony A7 III at f2.8 with the Metabones adapter, and downsampled 2-fold, as BHphoto did not let to upload the full resolution image.
