    CineBags CB40TC Reviews

CB-40 High Roller Camera Bag (Tactical Camo) is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a Portabrace. But maybe better? When it comes to cases, I use a lot. I've owned multiple Portabrace cases and still have one in service that's probably over 20 years old. I like Portabrace and for many years it was industry standard. I was looking for a soft case that could house my Sony FS5 with lens attached, extra lenses, batteries, power supply and odds and ends. I came across the CB-40 and liked how large and customizable it was. Portabrace soft cases are not as customizable. The amount of gear I can fit into this bag is really impressive. I condensed the contents of a large Pelican case, medium size Doskocil case, and backpack into one CB-40. It comfortably fits my Sony FS5 with lens attached, 2 other lenses, 3 batteries, LED light, power supply, Sennheiser wireless system (Transmitter, receiver, plug on transmitter), Sennheiser shotgun mic with Rycote windscreen, large Sony headphones, air blower and a bunch of other odds and ends. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the handle. It's uncomfortable when velcroed together. Also, the shoulder strap is not as comfortable as the Portabrace. But overall, it's a great case!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't try to get parts Good bag but the telescoping handle stopped working. Contacted the company and they said: Hi PaulThis is not an issue we have seen. We don't have any replacement handles for the CB40.Kind Regards

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good Well constructed, lots of room. Fits a nicely rigged out (but disassembled) GH4 / CAME-TV cage with accessories, audio, and a few odds and ends you can't leave home without. Lots of pockets with room to spare. I paired it with a 3 pack of Porta Brace pouches to organize tools and smaller items. You have to get creative with the dividers, but it all fits. I ended up using 5 of the 7 provided. The laptop compartment doubles as more storage since I carry mine in a backpack separately....It's a huge pocket better used for gear than a laptop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor craftmanship Ordered the bag for a work trip and recived it about five days before the trip. Noticed that one of the seems near the zipper was coming unraveled. Called customer service and they did not have another in stock. Had to use the back becuse I had no other alternative. Not happy about buying a bag for almost $$ with such poor craftmanship that the bag is falling apart even before it was used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag, but a tight fit for the FS7 I bought this for my Sony FS7 and it's a bit tight height wise. I am going to be changing my rod system on the camera and it will likely make the bag unusable with the camera. I am now exploring a different handle system for the camera so that I can keep the bag! That's how much I like it. My only complaint is that I wish it came with more dividers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is making my life easier. I got this because i got tired of carrying two bags all the time and my back hurting. Got to use this for a huge even and the amount of equipment i was able to store was crazy. Sony NX5U, audio equipment, a small light, go pros with accessories, batteries, cables and the Laptop with accessories. LOVE THIS THING. Can't wait to travel with. I haven't had any cons yet. So as of now, no cons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice looking bag This a very well designed bag, with a very attractive exterior. It's quite beatiful and imposing, especially when bringing multiple Cinebags to a shoot. It's configurable to your needs, very roomy and has lots of pockets to organize your gear. Dimensions are exactly approved carry on, even to the surprise of flight attendants. I could fit my whole BMPCC kit with rig, mikes, batteries, accesories and a few lenses. Camera fits with cage, rods and plate installed, fully disassembled it'd even fit a monitor or mattebox. Materials feel very high quality, but it scruffs easily. It somehow adds to the charm with a more weathered look. However, actual construction could improve. Handle feels flimsy and cheap for price point. Should have some added protection on wheels side, fabric in contact with ground and gets scruffed quickly. I'm considering adding some protection, like plastic rests. Computer sleeve could use some more interior padding. If issues were fixed this would be perfect. I still love it though, and everyone on set looks lovingly at it. Four stars so they improve the littlw things, five stars in my heart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robust and plenty of room I primarily use the Cinebags CB-25 backpack for travel as well as a 1510 pelican flight case and it can get cumbersome with so much to try and fit into smaller areas. But with this bag, it's deep enough that, i can fit it all: Alexa Mini, misfit atom mattebox and brow, smallhd 702 monitor,?transvideo monitor, filters, wooden camera d-box plus, shoulder mount,? 4 cine90 Anton batts, tandem charger, harddrives, cables, cforce mini motors, rods, top handle, and the Arri Master Grips. I'm extremely impressed. Been a fan of cinebags for over a decade.
