Prime short telephoto lens is designed for APS-C-format FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 76mm equivalent focal length.
Bright f/2 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also offers greater control over depth of field.
One aspherical extra-low dispersion element limits both spherical and chromatic aberrations in order to realize greater sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy.
Super EBC coating has been applied to individual elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
Stepping motor, along with an internal focusing design, affords fast and quiet autofocus performance that benefits both stills and video applications.
The lens body incorporates weather sealing to protect against dust and moisture, and to enable worry-free use in inclement conditions and freezing temperatures as low as 14°F.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.

FUJIFILM XF f/2 R WR Lens All of them, the 23, 35, and 50 all say that they are 35mm equivalent. How is that possible?
Asked by: Andy
What this refers to is the 35mm equivalent of each lens(the focal length after the crop factor of 1.5x). So the FUJIFILM XF 50mm f/2 R WR Lens would become a 76mm equivalent, while the 23mm will become 35mm and the 35mm will become 53mm.

I shoot only video on the XT-3. I need to choose between the 50 and the 56. These are mostly corporate interviews or teleprompter shoots that I am now doing with the kit 18-55. I want people to look their best and for the shoots to be a bit more filmic. I also need to be ready to shoot in non-studio situations - meaning available light. All this seems to point to the 56. On the other hand, the widest apertures on the 56 will not be usable in a video shoot, and it is said that the 56 has slower, louder autofocus. So, can anyone with video experience tell me if the 50 is perhaps a more logical choice for the kinds of video shoots I am doing? Thanks.
Asked by: David
The Fuji XF 56mm https://bhpho.to/2FWjbqa will have better low light abilities and better overall image quality.
