The ikan PT3700 Travel Kit includes the PT3700 rod-mount teleprompter and a heavy-duty rolling hard case.
The prompter features a 17" monitor with HDMI, Composite BNC, and VGA inputs, and can be used with most camcorders and DSLR and mirrorless cameras. It comes with 15mm rods that hold the entire system, and short 3, 5 and 8" height adjustment rods for attaching your camera at different heights. It also comes with the PrompterPro 4 prompting software, compatible with Mac and Windows. The prompter sets up quickly and easily without any tools.
The case has a custom-cut foam for the prompter and is designed for secure travel. It's air- and water-tight, made of impact-resistant plastic, offers a lock slot, and has wide, stable wheels and a pull-out handle.
Designed to be used in the field as well as in the studio, the ikan 17" Rod Mounted Teleprompter is lightweight, and quick to set up. Right out of the box, you can use the teleprompter with almost any camcorder that has a flat base. To use with a DSLR camera, or any other camera with a shorter footprint, the included special DSLR shelf can be fastened to the end of the camera base-plate in order to move your camera's lens closer to the prompter glass for optimal performance.
The PT3700 Teleprompter's hardware is based on 15mm rods. This allows the monitor, the prompter glass, and the camera baseplate to be set up quickly, without requiring tools. Each component can easily be moved individually to adjust for different setups. To accommodate cameras with different heights, ikan includes 3, 5, and 8" height adjustment rods for mounting the baseplate.
For editing and displaying prompter text, PrompterPro 4 software is included. To ensure compatibility with different workflows, the software works with both PC and Mac computers. The monitor has Composite BNC, VGA, and HDMI inputs to accept video signals from your computer and other video sources as well.
The PT-CASE Rolling Hard Case from ikan is an air- and water-tight hard transport and storage case for the ikan PT3500 and PT3700 teleprompters. It's made of heavy-duty, impact-resistant plastic, and has wide wheels and rubber tires providing for stability. It has a pullout handle on top for rolling it, a built-in handle on top, and another built-in handle on the side. It also has a slot for an optional lock. This case is designed to be used with the foam that's included with the PT3500 and PT3700 prompters.
