The Mark II improves upon the original E-M10 in terms of its color rendition, focusing bracketing function, wireless control via smart phones, UHS-II card support and a brighter EVF.

Does camera stitch together time lapse pictures or do you need another software program?
Asked by: chris
Unfortunately, no, you will have to download a stitching program to your computer. The camera does have a pano mode but it is just for framing and lining up the images in preparation for the stitching software.

Is it worth upgrading to the E-M10 II from the E-M10 V1?
Asked by: Peter
That depends on if the Mark II model has features which you currently need that the Mark 1 does not. The improvements to the Mark II include 5 Axis Image Stabilization, instead of 3 Axis on the Mark 1. The Mark II can record HD at up to 60fps, the Mark 1 only goes up to 30fps. Finally the Mark II has a 2.36m-Dot OLED Electronic Viewfinder compared to a 1,440k-Dot EVF on the Mark I.

does it have in camera photo stacking?
Asked by: Larry
I believe the camera focus-brackets but the actual stacking operation has to be performed externally, using Helicon Focus or other software. The focus-bracketing settings require a bit of trial and error to master, and are more useful for landscape work than for say macro photography.

Is there a portal for a remote cable hookup?
Asked by: irwin
You can attach remote shutter releases, both wired and wireless. Here is an example: Vello FreeWave Fusion Wireless Flash Trigger & Remote Kit (Select Olympus & Canon) B&H # VERFWCOCQ . The camera also has Wi-Fi. This means you can download a free Olympus app to your phone and not only grab photos from the camera to share on the Internet but you can remotely control the camera as well.
