Styled in a pearl black fade metallic finish, the RG421 from Ibanez is an electric guitar featuring a double-cutaway mahogany body and a bolt-on Wizard III maple neck. The neck employs a 25.5” scale with a rosewood fingerboard, white dot inlays, and 24 jumbo frets, allowing your fingers to sail up to the highest notes and bend strings with ease.
For electronics, you'll note two Quantum humbucking pickups, both passive in circuitry, and both designed to give you a quick bass response without sacrificing precise articulation in the treble range. A volume and tone knob give you broad control over level and timbre, while a five-way pickup-selector switch is wired for series, parallel, and split configurations, thus facilitating tonal variety. To complement the finish, the guitar is equipped with Cosmo black hardware, including a fixed bridge securing the strings to the body, while a set of standard tuners fastens them at the headstock.
