The Realtree Max5 Lens Cover for the Canon EF 400mm f/4 DO Lens from LensCoat covers the lens with a 100% closed-cell neoprene coat, offering protection from bumps, jars and nicks. This coat will allow you to blend in with your surroundings, making it usefull for nature and outdoor photographers. It also provides a thermal barrier, protecting your hands from cold lens surfaces in low temperatures and therefore beneficial to sports shooters and photojournalists.
A LensCoat Lens Cover is easy to install and remove, leaving no residue on the lens. LensCoat Lens Covers are waterproof, providing protection to your lens in wet conditions. The Realtree Max5 pattern offers effectiveness in open terrain. The pattern features detailed cattails, millet, milo, corn stalks, sunflowers, oak and maple leaves, cedar and oak limbs, plus a variety of other plant life.

Ah, the Dreamcoat!
As a wildlife photographer, my gear gets dragged through some pretty harsh environments. Without Lens Coats, my expensive lenses would be beat to death. This product does what it's supposed to do! It protects your high-dollar glass from bumps and bangs, helps keep it dry, and makes it more comfortable to hold or rest on your shoulder. The camouflage patterning looks cool, but I don't think birds come any closer because of it. After years of knocking around the woods, beaches, and swamps of the US, my lenses look like the day they were made. Also purchase the matching Rain Caps for each lens. A super-easy way to cover and protect the objective glass! Best products for your kit....

Matches my camo outfit!!!
I have recently become serious about wildlife photography and after reading how others have been able to get much closer to the critters when wearing camo, I decided to give it a try. I have to admit, it makes me feel like when I was a young tom-boy as I normally do not wear such masculine attire. But, if it means getting closer to my furry and feathered friends!!! Well, I decided to go full force and purchase the LensCoats for three of my super-telephoto lenses. I love them! They serve several purposes including camouflage, protection, insulation, and they are the perfect accessory to my new camo outfit! I feel that they were quite expensive for what you get, but sometimes you just have to splurge when you have an obsession. I thought of trying to make my own for a couple of other lenses, but I have a feeling it may not be as easy as it looks. I will keep you posted!

Got them for all my lenses
As a sports shooter and photojournalist I own lots of expensive lenses that I want to protect. It used to be that they only made these cover in camo for nature guys. i used to be on the sidelines of a football game with my 500 in camo and I looked a little silly. I am thrilled that I can get the same protection for my lenses in white or black.

I am covered up!
I was able to stretch the Lens Cover over all parts of my Canon 400mm DO Lens without too much difficulty. It lets me see the buttons and functions without a problem. A little pricey for fabric and time that it would take to make one of these covers. It does the job though!

After spending $5000+ for a lens there's finally a way toprotect the investment. No more worries about gettingscratches. As a wildlife photographer, the realtree max4pattern really breaks up the shape of the white lens. I haveLensCoats on all my lenses.

Great coat
Good: Signifigantly breaks up the structure of the lens. This coat really does a good job of covering the lens up. Less good: I really would like to see some proper waterproof material used for this price. When it gets wet, it gets heavy.

Easy to apply and looks great on lens
I do wildlife photography and the Realtree lensCoat lens cover prevents glare from the lens surface, as well as blending in with the envirement. When hand holding, the cover provides a comfortable secure grip. I like it a lot.

This product is just what I needed
This lens coat fit well and was easy to install. I can't really tell if it makes birds less scared of my camera, but it definitely looks really nice
