Overall, I am underimpressed. Pros: The material is good quality and will provide some protection for your lens. It is a small investment in comparison to your lens.Cons: You can't tell this from the picture, but three of the pieces are not complete circles, but strips with adhesive on the back. The good thing is that the adhesive is not strong enough to leave any marks on your lens. The bad thing is that they are constantly coming off. The pieces like this include ones that go on the lens collar, rotating strap collar and drop in filter ring. The one on the rotating strap collar has come off so many times, I don't bother putting it back on. This product is way overpriced. ... Also, you would think that for the price they would include a piece to cover the focus ring, since it is such a big part of the lens and the camo is supposed to help hide the lens. I'm sure they would say that it might inhibit your grip for MF, but I use mine 95% of the time on AF anyway.

Most of the lens cover attachments expand over the lens and hood for a snug fit and worked well to provide extra protection. I did not attempt to use the stick on strip pads and left those areas exposed. This product is very useful in protecting the lens from scrapes and dents.

For $, you don't get much - basically 4 neoprene pieces are usable. I put the 4 Neoprene closed pieces on tonight. It does NOT look like the picture at all, there is no neoprene piece for the focus ring. That is to stay bare. I did not bother putting the 3 sticky strips on, after reading other comments. It might provide some protection.

The parts of the Lens Cover fir the Sigma 500mm f4.5 well. It's also provides some protection against the elements and mild shocks. I personaly think it is too expensive for what it is, but I got it anyway.
