These Realtree Max5 LegCoat Tripod Leg Protectors from LensCoat are compatible with Gitzo GT2530, GT2530EX, GT2931, GT2932 tripods. This 3 pack of LegCoat Protectors is made from closed-cell neoprene and heavy-duty padding to protect your tripod's legs from the elements, bumps and scratches. The material is also designed to be comfortable against your shoulders during transport. Additionally, LegCoats camouflage the tripod's legs when you're shooting outdoors. Open or close LegCoats with their touch fastener. Another advantage of LegCoats is that they will make your tripod easier to handle when working outside in temperature extremes. LegCoats are made in the USA and backed by LensCoat's 30-day warranty against defects.

LegCoat Tripod Leg Protectors (Realtree Max5, 3 Pack) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works as designed I have not had this product for a long time. I put the leg coat on the night I got them and have not removed them. The product does what it is designed to do. It covers the legs with padding. This should keep my tripod legs protected from normal damage. They also make gripping the tripod legs better when it is very cold. So you are wondering why I rated the product so low. I rated the product so low because the leg coatings are loose and they cost an arm and a leg. I think I would have been better off if I had gone to a hunting store and picked up gun tape for $10. This would protect the legs from normal dings, allow for a better grip and not be as bulky.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Next time i'll save my money I bought this product expecting to have a glove fit on my GT2530. Well, the foam pipe's diameter is larger than tripod's leg - that means, if you shoot outside, dirt and debris will get in between tripod leg and protector. The neoprene cover looks pretty, indeed, but it's too large as well. Bottom line is a $1.50 pipe insulation and a piece of Gaffer tape will do a better job - maybe not as pretty looking as LegCoat but definitely much better protection. ... before you ask, yes, i bought the model designed for Gitzo GT2530 (according to specs)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A huge disappointment I was so excited when I received them and then once I had two of them on I realized that they added enough bulk that when I went to pick up the tripod with them on it stretched my hand enough to cause enough discomfort that with them on I would not use a very expensive tripod. I ended up returning the product. So if anyone has any type of hand issues these products would not work for them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not So Great I bought a set of these for my Gitzo GT2531 tripod. They don't fit all that well, they are too thick (when I have all three on, I can't get the tripod into the case). The foam appears to be plain old pipe insulation you can get for $2.00 for six feet at the hardware store. The neoprene covers fit loosely and don't stretch to cover the ends of the foam. Definitely not worth the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not ideal for general use I was hoping to get something to give my Gitzo CF legs some protection but the Legcoat is a bit overkill. I can see this product being very useful for times when you need to camouflage your gear but for general use, I don't recommend this product. It's very thick and makes handling of the tripod (and storage) very cumbersome. My tripod legs don't close tight with these covers on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product Easy to install and hold on very tight. My wife always hate carrying my tripods because her fingers always get hurt between the tripod legs, but with these leg protectors the problem is solved. Great for during winter time when tripod legs get extremely cold.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice fitting leg protectors Used with a Gitzo Explorer tripod (side column with tilt). The fit is very nice and the material seems to be fairly good. A little too thick however since it interferes with the center column when the tripod is folded. I have not used the permanent mounting glue strips yet, but the only problem is that they slide up and down a little. I have cut down the inner foam a little (the covers stay on by velcro) to see if this will help - and it seems to be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for subzero weather Bought these to prevent dings on my Carbon fiber Gitzo and to make a subzero grab of the tripod not such a jarring experience to my old hands. They are the perfect size and don't obstruct the legs closing up or the movement of the centre column on the tripod. Best of all an unexpected plus... when I hoist the tripod up on my shoulder to move to another spot it is now cushioney-soft. I appreciate that a lot especially at the end of a long day
