Lens Cover for the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II Lens (Realtree Max5) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Protection LensCoat is just plain good protection. There is always a trade off somewhere, and this one is around the tendency of neoprene to snag when putting it in a cloth lens case, but that just comes with the territory. I use it to protect my Canon 24-70 2.8 when doing event coverage and am constantly putting down/picking up gear. Being in the West Coast, winter outdoors photography is often just too wet to set anything on the ground without other cover (any product would leak around the section edges, and with the telescoping barrel of the Canon 24-70, is just plain a bad idea regardless), but this product is great for peace of mind with bumps/scratches/hanging from your hip/etc. I have several, and have been grateful for them more than once. Note: do not confuse this product with Lens Skin-much different.
