Sennheiser HD1 Overview

The black HD 1 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with NoiseGard from Sennheiser are a combination of performance, style, and high-quality materials such as genuine leather earcups and stainless steel sliders. They can be used to listen to music and take calls using Bluetooth 4.0 technology, and are compatible with smartphones, MP3 players, tablets, and other portable devices.

Sennheiser NoiseGard technology attenuates ambient noise, while the high-definition aptX codec carves out every aural nuance in detail. Furthermore, the built-in VoiceMax microphone enables you to conduct clear conversations. The built-in rechargeable battery can operate up to 22 hours on a full charge, and charging time is about 3 hours.

The headphones include a USB charging cable, an inflight adapter, a carrying case, and a 4.6' audio cable with a 1/8" right-angled, mini-jack connector.

With the HD 1 wireless headphones, setting up a wireless connection is even easier than plugging in a conventional cable. At the push of a button, the integrated Bluetooth 4.0 technology with NFC connects quickly.

How long is the wire connecting the ear pieces? Ive purchased cheaper in ear Bluetooth headphones and Ive found them to be a bit short for me.

I measure it at 28 inches total. (The wire makes a V-shape at the midpoint, so 14 inches up from the midpoint to each earpiece).

How soft or firm are the ear sleeves? I have smaller ears (Apple EarPods are a bit too big for me) and want to make sure that these will not be too big. :)

Well, firstly these are a pair of Sennheisers...That said, I sue them for general usage, and they are an excellent pair of headphones, the noise cancelling is a great feature, particularly as I fly a lot. That said, as studio headphones? Well it depends on the studio, if its a home one, then probably yes, but for a professional studio, speakers for monitoring, Sennheiser HD25 for booth or monitoring.

The Sony Alpha a7S II has a headphone jack, for traditional wired headphones. It is not Bluetooth capable. You can only connect to wireless devices, via Bluetooth, if those devices have Bluetooth.
