    Piece of junk

Don't waste your money on this. The adhesive is useless and will not stick over the lens. It's a piece of junk and I threw it away. I should have returned it for a refund but I had already destroyed the packaging and it wasn't worth the aggravation and postage to return. If I could give this zero stars, I would

This product works as it is supposed to work, and it is simple to apply. What else is there to say?

    Small, Unobtrusive, Hard to Center

This is a nice filter, but hard to center in the concentric circles of the camera. If the filter had been larger it would have been easier to install. The adhesive seems to work well, though, even after adjusting several times, and removing several times after repeatedly noticing dust I had inadvertently trapped underneath. Next time, I will go for the adapter ring and screw on UV filter, mainly because I am too clumsy during install.

    new tricks ...

I had a Fuji 100 S and went for the full lens front filter screw on version as I already had 49mm filters . It did extend the lens out though and made a semi compact camera slightly bigger . This nice piece of thin glass fits and sticks right on the hollow of the aperture leading to the camera lens glass . It sticks on readily , but don't be concerned if you reposition it , I did twice , picking the edge up with my finger nail . It re sticks quite well and stays and protects the lens front without any more protrusion for my 100 T . I like it better . And you get a very nice microfiber cloth to clean off the back screen , as my nose rubs it every time I use the view finder ( but I love the OVF for sure ) . New tricks for my new Fuji .

Could not get this thing to stick. The tab to pull the sticky layer just fell off, leaving me unable to get it to work. Save your 20 bucs and buy a real filter.

    Useless for RX100

B & H website said this was for RX100, 100 II, 100 III. Dont know about II & III, but it will not stick to my RX-100 lens front. It appears that the adhesive is spread across the entire side of the filter that goes on the camera lens. There is not enough around the rim of the filter to stick to my camera, as the only contact with my camera is on the edge (rim) of the filter. Even their tech help say its not for the 100, BUT the website said different.

    NOT FOR DSC-RX100

Not enough adhesive on the rim of the filter (as the product picture shows), will not work on the original DSC-RX100.

I like it. Protect the somewhat fragile lens cap mechanism.

    question

After installing this UV filter, can I add CPL or ND filter on top it?
    Asked by: Y D.
I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to do so...as the UF filter is attached with adhesive and could easily have other filters sandwiched on top. I am very happy with the UV filter which does an excellent job protecting the lens...

    question

Can this filter be installed and removed repeatedly, as needed? That is, is the adhesive which holds the filter in place reusable?
    Asked by: Anonymous
Most likely no. As far as I can remember it installs permanently.
