With the RECONYX SC950C HyperFire Cellular General Surveillance Camera for T-Mobile, you can capture photos and video of trespassers or game while you're away and then send the images directly to as many as 4 mobile phones and/or 2 email accounts. A cellular text messaging and data plan through T-Mobile is required and not included. The camera takes 3.1MP photos when triggered by motion detection or a programmable time-lapse setting. Designed to be discreet, the HyperFire has an invisible No Glow infrared flash that provides illumination without spooking or alerting your subjects. The camera records images to optional SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB. It runs on 12 optional AA lithium batteries or AA NiMH rechargeable batteries. Additionally, the HyperFire can operate via the included power cable, which plugs into the external power jack.

The included MapView Professional Software with Google Maps technology lets you organize your images geographically and access them with ease. Security scheduling software, also included, allows you to set up the camera ahead of time so that it will be on or off during various times of the day and days of the week. As an added bonus, the HyperFire is supplied with an adjustable bungee cord for mounting to a tree or post.

Photo Capture

  • 3.1MP or 2MP
  • Color images by day, black-and-white by night
  • Night mode offers balanced, high quality, fast shutter, and max range settings to suit your preferences
  • Balanced: Best combination of image quality, shutter speed, and flash range
  • High Quality: Better-looking images with reduced flash range
  • Fast Shutter: Reduced motion blur with reduced flash range
  • Max Range: Increased flash range with reduced image quality

Motion Sensor

  • Passive infrared / PIR motion sensor
  • Very fast 0.2-sec trigger speed
  • Detection range: 100'
  • Two horizontal detection bands and 6 different zones that cover detection area
  • Can be scheduled on or off at 15-minute intervals within a 24-hr time period
  • 2 schedules available to be assigned to different days of week, so you can assign separate weekday and weekend schedules
  • Sensor sensitivity settings: Low, low/medium, medium, medium/high, and high

Interval Recording

  • Selectable Intervals: 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec, 5 sec, 15 sec, 30 sec, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 60 minutes
  • 5 sec is shortest possible interval when motion trigger or flash/illuminator is on

Motion + Time-Lapse Mode

  • Enables camera to be triggered by both motion sensor and time-lapse function
  • If an animal or trespasser moves into detection zone in between time-lapse intervals, motion sensor will pick up movement so camera won't miss the shot

Continuous Shooting

  • By default, camera is set up to capture 3 pictures per trigger with a 1 sec pause between pictures and no delay between triggers
  • Selectable Post-Trigger Delay Times: 0, 15 sec, 30 sec, 1.0 minute, 3.0 minutes, and 5.0 minutes
  • RapidFire NearVideo: Up to 2 fps (still image capture)
  • 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 images per trigger in RapidFire mode, with 1, 3, 5, or 10 sec between triggers

Flash

  • Effective range: 50'

Setup, Display, and Options

  • Small, back-lit LCD text screen for menu navigation and settings selection
  • Date, time, temperature, and moon phase stamping on images
  • By recording phase of moon at time of capture, camera allows you to see which animals are inactive during full or nearly-full moon — when brighter lighting conditions make them more visible to predators
  • Moon phase also helps determine if brighter or darker backgrounds in images are due to fullness of moon
  • Computer, tablet, television, digital picture frame, or other device required in order to review images
  • Low-battery status indicator light
  • Settings you select are retained until changed again, even when camera is turned off
  • CodeLoc pass-code protection to thwart theft attempts

Memory

  • Records images to optional SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB
  • Loop Recording: If selected, this mode prompts camera to overwrite older pictures with new ones when memory card reaches capacity

Power

  • Runs on 12 optional AA lithium batteries or AA NiMH rechargeable batteries
  • Battery types must not be mixed
  • Lithium cells should provide 30,000-40,000 images, depending on usage and settings, while NiMH should provide 20,000-30,000
  • Can also run on included external power supply, which plugs into 12V external power jack on bottom of camera
  • Optional Solar Panel Power Unit available for use with external jack
