The Kwik Stand from Kessler is a gear-saving plate compatible with the Kwik Release system, providing additional camera stability when resting your camera on flat surfaces, and protecting it from toppling over. It has four points of contact via rubber feet that grip hard surfaces and provide anti-slip resistance, further ensuring camera stability. All Kwik Stand models also provide threaded accessory holes for added versatility and accessory mounting.

Is this compatible with Manfrotto or Sachtler plates?
This is the Arca Swiss type dove tail. I have been using this Kwik stand for 9 months now on Arca Swiss type clamps and tripod heads. All the head I have are only Arca Swiss. Hope this gives you a definitive answer.

Which videohead can i use with that plate? I have a Manfrotto tripod but i am searching for a videohead now.
This is an Arca Swiss dove tail mount plate. The only way to use this Kessler Kwik stand on any other type of tripod head than an Arca Swiss clamp head, is to mount this Kessler stand to the mounting plate of that other type head. I'm not sure if this is possible since this stand does not have receiver screw holes on the bottom of the plate or through the plate like typical mounting plates. For example, the Manfrotto type mounting plate is slightly wider, has a different locking mechanism, and has a different dove tail angle. To clarify, Arca Swiss is a mount type AND also a Brand. However, the Arca Swiss type mount can also be found by many other makers and brands. This is definitely an Arca Swiss type mount.

Hi. I am worried that the lever arm of my Really Right Stuff ball head bh-55 lever arm will get caught in the legs of the Kessler Feet and not allow it to lock. Anyone had any experience?
Inserting the Kessler Crane Kwik Stand (B&H# KEMG1031) into the clamp of the Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ball Head with Full-Size Lever-Release Clamp (Chrome) (B&H# REBH55LR) could make it difficult to tighten the clamp to hold onto the Kwik Stand. If you want to raise the Kwik Stand on top of the clamp of the RRS BH-55 Ball Head then you can add a combination of an Arca-compatible plate (and clamp) by inserting it into the clamp of the RRS BH-55 Ball Head. Two examples are the Really Right Stuff B2-mAS Screw-Knob Clamp with 1/4"-20 Screw (38mm) (B&H# REB2MAS) and the Desmond DAC-38 Quick Release Clamp (B&H# DEDAC38). Of course, you could also just mount the Kessler Crane Kwik Release Receiver (B&H# KEMG1001) on top of an Arca-compatible quick release plate that would be in the clamp of the RRS BH-55 Ball Head, So, while the Kwik Stand may get in the way of the lever of your ball head, there (above) you have three options to address that.

What is the space between those screw holes in the front (under where the camera lens would be)? Is this to attach rod holders?
I believe you are referring to the threaded accessory holes, which are 1/4"-20 thread that will allow you to attach accessories to this plate.
