    Ruggard PQX-115B reviews

Optica 15 DSLR Roller (Black) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not perfect Nice big roller. Definitely large, think carry-on size. I will probably never use it as a backpack but that's fine because I just wanted something I could pack all my gear into for when I photograph events or for travel. The major flaw of this bag is that the main zipper is very poor. It gets stuck all the time in one specific spot. Very annoying. Another thing is that there is no way to put a light fit for the camera body on the top. I feel like it will wobble on the sides from all the room. Nonetheless, it has a lot of storage space and lots of adjustable dividers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! And for the price, a steal! The Ruggard Opitca 15 DSLR Roller is a must get for anyone shooting videos on the go. This bag is durable, super affordable, and has a ton of storage space. You can easily remove the fastening dividers to give you one large space to fit a larger light unit or camera. The dividers go back in really easily, too. I've used this on travel jobs because it's a perfect carry on size and fits snuggly in overhead storage. On another flight I was even able to slide under the seat in front of me. I love that you can wear this as a backpack as well, especially when you're outdoors and don't have the ability to roll or need to run up stairs. I've even used this to transport external HD's because of how durable and padded the bag is. This is a must have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice bag, could be better I normally wait to review anything until I have had it a while so I am sure how I feel about it. But there are no reviews for this, so I wanted to get something here. The bag is made of a heavy nylon. I doubt it will be extremely durable, but it shouldn't tear apart too quickly. The zippers are of fair quality, so I would say the same for them. The bag is quite large, so there is plenty of space, but in only one large inside compartment. It could use more pockets, and smaller pockets to help organize. The handle extends and retracts smoothly, and the wheels roll smoothly. It is non-descript, so it isn't a great looking bag, but then it won't stand out in an airport screaming 'expensive camera stuff' either. There are roller bags that cost nearly 3 times what this does. If you have the extra cash to spend, you might want to try one of them (I don't have any experience with them). But this seems to be a pretty good bag for the money. I am pleased with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Zipper I bought this item yesterday from B&H and was really happy about the price since it's 50% cheaper than all the other DSLR roller bags. I has all the compartments, good space, 15 inch laptop slot. Wheels and retractable handle seem fairly well made. Only noticeable critique is that the out flat of the back has little protection for the laptop -- not that the other rollers have much more. But while zipping the back closed after a few times I noticed one of the zippers was not completely grabbing the zipper teeth, leaving an open gap. I tried several more times with almost the same results. I could close it using the other zipper. But obviously this is not good since the out flat is what holds all the expensive gear inside without tumbling out -- and already defective on the first day! Maybe other ones are fine and this is a dud but I have a feeling it's just poorly made since the price is low. Definitely going to return it for an exchange or refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag, Great Price. The plain vanilla of roller bags, but has everything you need for a stress free day of shooting. More expensive bags have more bells and whistles but this bag has nothing to be ashamed of. So if you don't want to spend twice as much for features you may not need, this is the one to get; I did and no regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of both worlds I was not sure if I wanted a rolling carrier for my equipment or a back pack. When the clerk took lenses from the shelf to show how easy it was to adjust and still have room I was delighted. It was when I left the store using the back pack feature I knew this was the one for me. When I got off the train I without thinking just pulled up the handle and walked off the train. I smiled on the platform because I realizedBob this the best of both worlds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a 4 for me, but it depends on your needs. I currently have this bag out for its first long distance run. It's a compromise, and depending on your needs you may give it 3 or a 5. I'm not a pro, so I'm not familiar with the more expensive bags. And if you want a hard case, this won't do. If you're a dedicated amateur like me, you're going to want to check this out. I read some comments about the zippers, I haven't had reason to complain. It's a very good travel bag if you want to use it as a carry-on. It fits in the overhead bin, had wheels and a retractable handle. Bungee it to your check on bag and you can easily move it through an airport. It fits a bunch of gear. It may not fit a large DSLR like a DX1, but my 80D with a 70-200 Tamron attached fits well, along with a Black Rapid strap and a prime lens tucked in beside them. There's additional room for a large flash, and another half dozen or so lenses, plus smaller accessories. The padding is plenty good so long as you don't rough house with the bag which weighs 10 pounds. It also doubles as a backpack, with hideaway straps. And you can append a medium weight tripod to the side. It's comfortable as these things go, but that extra ten pounds costs it a star. Hey. Like I said. You can't have everything. Use it with the Black Rapid strap designed to go with a backpack and you'll have a serviceable utility player, well worth the price. I'd buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Room, rolls and rugged I have lugged around my full-size cameras and lenses with backpacks that, after a while, left me exhausted and strained. This is the perfect marraige of choice of backpack (when climbing) and roll-on (when at airport).
