Vibe 100 Anti-Theft Hip Pack (Black) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from More functional than the Venturesafe 100; 4 liters Notably absent: (1) Pacsafe's usual velcro'd flap covered phone slot; (2) a zipper mesh or solid panel slot; (3) vertical pen slots. The Vibe 100 is much improved over its predecessors, the Venturesafe 100 and Stashsafe 200. Visually the Vibe 100 looks no larger (or not much larger) than the Venturesafe 100, but it has the functional interior volume of the Stashsafe 200 without that bag's too-large silhouette. Rundown: (1) Front panel zipper slot is ideal for today's modern large (up to 6") phones, since it can easily handle a 5.95" Nexus 6 even in a drop-in cover. I think this handy front slot is why Pacsafe hasn't installed dedicated interior phone slots. (2) The key ring in the front panel zipper slot is a lousy place for keys if you plan on keeping your phone there. I would rather the key ring be in the main compartment on the front-side panel. But YMMV if you stow your phone in the main compartment, not the front slot. (3) The main compartment has only a front RFID slot and rear, full-width tablet slot, lightly but effectively padded. No space wasted. If you like wallet slots and pen slots, this is not the version for you. (4) This is 4 liters without looking huge. It is big enough for a thin windshell (like the Houdini), a small water bottle (I'm thinking an 8 oz plastic flask or half-liter IV-style collapsible film bottle), and a snack lunch. Or if you leave other stuff out, a light, but lined, windshirt. (5) BONUS:up to an 8" 16*9 tablet (wide-screen), or more-squareish 7.9" tablet (3*2 aspect ratio) will fit in the tablet panel. Wider tablets fit more easily than squareish tablets; a mini is about the limit, a Nex9 won't fit. NOTE: I don't like the Roobar locking mechanism. It's ugly. It does have a tiny hole for a tiny padlock though, something the cable & clasp systems didn't have. And once you learn how to operate, it does open and close quickly. One HUGE improvement is the much easier-to-operate waist strap clasp. I didn't like the cable & snaphook system on earlier designs, I had to carefully position the cable in order to snap the buckle shut. On the new one, it's a piece of cake yet at the same time resistant to tampering. I like Pacsafe's choice of smooth - but not glaringly glossy - nylon. It doesn't attract pet fur, and doesn't abrade other fabrics.
