This HP Z440 Turnkey is built by B&H for advanced video editing. The modified minitower workstation features a 3.1 GHz Intel Xeon Quad-Core processor, 512GB SSD, 12TB of total HDD storage configured as RAID 0, and 64GB of total RAM. It also has EDIUS Pro 8 editing software, Grass Valley STORM Pro I/O card, and Quadro M4000 8GB Graphics Card installed. EDIUS Pro 8 is a comprehensive NLE popular for broadcast applications but valid for any type of common project. The STORM Pro card offers HD-SDI input/output and HDMI output.

Please Note: During the building process, certain components from the base machine have been removed. These original components will be included in the box as a courtesy and are not needed for the system to function as intended.     The Z440 Series Tower Workstation from HP delivers powerful performance in a 4U rackable minitower form factor and is designed for professionals who require high reliability. The Z440 is well suited for tasks such as intensive graphics, 3D rendering, and multimedia, as well as science and engineering applications. The system is powered by a 3.1 GHz Intel Xeon E5-1607 v4 Quad-Core processor which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously.

    The 8GB of 2400 MHz PC4-19200 DDR4 ECC Registered RAM allows the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously and also to access frequently-used files and programs. All in all, there are a total of eight DIMM slots and with all of them in use, this system supports 128GB RAM, or 16GB per slot. As this RAM features ECC technology, it is able to help detect and correct the most common kinds of internal data corruption. This RAM is also registered and registered memory modules, also known as buffered memory modules, place less electrical loads on the memory controller and allow single systems to remain stable with more memory modules than they would have otherwise.

    For storage of your files, this HP Z440 is equipped with a 1TB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the Z440 features eight (8) USB 3.0 ports, two (2) USB 2.0 ports, and two (2) PS/2 ports. For users who wish to add additional components to the drive bays, the Z440 features two internal 3.5" drive bays and two external 5.25" drive bays. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Realtek HD ALC221 outputs high-definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers. No integrated or dedicated graphics controllers are included with this system, allowing the user to select a GPU of their choice.

    The Z440 Series Tower Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a power cord, and restore & recovery media. The Z440 operates using a 700W power supply that runs using 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), a Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) license is included.

    Housing a Maxwell architecture chip, the PNY Technologies Quadro M4000 Graphics Card is optimized for professional graphics rendering. This model is priced with HP's Smart Buy discount.
