    Sony MDR-RF995RK reviews

MDR-RF995RK Wireless RF Headphone System is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sony RF vs. IR and.TMR IF504R clearer Sony should have stayed with Infrared as RF Rafio Freq gets interference from wireless WiFi at either 24 MHz or 5 MHz. I now own both and prefer the IR.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations I have severe hearing loss. This is my 4th TV headphones. I had two sennhausser and they wore out to quickly. My third one was a sony. It lasted twice as long. This headphones changed my life. They did not look as good as my last sony's but here is what they do. I can now hear 95 % + of regular and TV. I was at 50% before. What sony did was decrease the bass and raise the midrange where the voice is. They also added a seperate button to boost the voice which works great for movies. The headphones are lighter and smaller over the ear. After using them for a month, this is a great improvement. They are very comfortable. I had to get an adapter to change my two audio RCA to an 1/8" sterio mini-plug, but other than that they were a breeze to set up. The import thing is to be able to hear what is being said. I have paid three times as much for headphones that these outperform by a mile. I am a Sony guy forever. Bob

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cable problems The cable provided wasn't enough. We had to ask a friend to figure out what else was needed and hook it up for us. Now that it's working we love it. The sound is stereo and I can walk around the house listening to the tv when I don't need to see the picture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine but bulky and somewhat uncomfortable. After investigating multiple options for wireless sound with TV viewing, I settled for this but the bulkiness of the headphones gets in the way when sitting up or lounging in bed.
