Did not work with a Canon XC-15

In searching for compatible CFast cards for a newly purchased Canon XC-15 this card was included in the list so we bought a couple of them. After it arrived I attempted to initialize it in camera for some test shots and found that the camera would not recognize the CFast card. It blinked and attempted to but would give an error. I then tried reformatting the card on a Windows machine just to have a fresh starting place. I used the SanDisk pro CFast reader in hopes of giving it the best chances, but the computer had a hard time mounting it. After unplugging and replugging it finally mounted. Once mounted I performed a full reformatting of the card (unchecked the Quick Format button). We then inserted the card back into the XC-15 and it was then recognized! We allowed the camera to initialize the card. After that I could take the card in and out of the camera and it loaded each time. Seemed like good news. But after shooting about 20 minutes worth of test shots I found I could not get the footage off the card. It once again would not mount on the PC easily. After some repeated tries it did. But every time I attempted to 1. copy the files off the card, 2. import the files using Adobe Premiere, 3. Save a backup using Canon's own utility software--all 3 attempts came back with some sort of error. The footage was lost so it was a no-go to shoot any real events with it. I could play the test footage for about 5 minutes inside the Canon Utility but it would never go past a certain point and I could not get the footage off the card. So I had to shoot an important event using the SD card which by design does not record in 4K video like the Canon XF-400 will. I'll need to find out if there are CFast cards that are known to work seamlessly with this model (XC-15) and why this one is advertised on B&H as being compatible. Note: we bought 2 cards and each performed the same as the description above.

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III uses SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards. The SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO CFast 2.0 Memory Card is not compatible. You could use the ProGrade Digital 256GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/2Zndudx
