I personally do not own the Komodo but bases on the cameras recording speeds I am going to say yes. You cannot. This is a CFast 2.0 Card, The D5 is available with either CompactFlash slots or XQD slots, which are two different systems. CFast 2.0 Cards will not work.

The D5 either takes CF cards or XQD cards, Cfast is a different type of card. The camera comes in 2 different versions, if your camera takes CF cards the Sandisk card won't work.
