VisibleDust Zee Pro Overview

The royal blue Zee Pro Sensor-Cleaning Bulb Blower for Digital Cameras from VisibleDust is a particle-free, clean air bulb system that has dual filters placed in the back and in the front of the blower. The larger oval-shaped bulb increases air capacity, and when the bulb is squeezed the air is propelled at a much faster rate. Additionally, the dual filter system, which does not allow particles to be re-blown onto camera sensors or glass surfaces, completely filters out all dust particles and debris.

The Zee Pro bulb's body has been coated with an anti-dust repellent and does not allow dust to attach itself to the exterior and interior of the bulb. Also, the coating gives a clean look to the exterior of the bulb. The round base helps to keep a standalone upright position of the bulb, which makes it convenient to pick up.

It blows the dust off my lenses and sensors. I bought this to replace my rocket blower (without a dust filter) as the usual reason to need this is in a dusty environment. I don't just want to replace the dust on my lens with new dust.

Expensive, but there's less risk of dusting your sensor

I also have a Giotto Rocket Air Blaster, which I love. I decided to buy the VisibleDust blower based on the theory it will reduce the risk of blowing dust on my sensor. I don't know how real that risk actually is... The air is pushed through a filter to minimize the risk of blowing dust onto your sensor. Because of this, the air pressure you can generate is lower than for the Giotto, but I suppose you don't want too much pressure against your sensor anyway. It's sufficient for blowing dust off your lens, too. Quality is solid.

After discovering a small fleck of dirt on my sensor and my old blower couldn't dislodge it, I purchase Visible Bulb and it did the job. I also like the fact it uses a filter to keep the blower dust out. I used some lens cleaner to clean the bulb before putting back into its carrying bag as it had some bits stuck to the surface.

There's probably cheaper ones out there that work as well, but for something as necessary as this to be prepared to clean my DSLR mirror, I rely on B&H to have a quality product at a fair price. This was it, so in the shopping cart it went.

This one stays home for serious work

This has a carrying case, but stays home for serious work away from sand. Case is not completely closed. It seems to have more power. I have a Sensei cleaning kit as well.

The Zee Pro Blower is one of the better bulb blowers I've used over a span of 40+ years. It does a good job removing dust from DSLR and mirrorless camera sensors with clean, filtered air. I've used it to effectively remove dust from camera lenses, binocular and microscope lenses, and astronomical equipment optics. Works well on my telescope eyepieces, objective lenses, diagonal mirrors, filters, and CMOS sensors in my digital astro-cameras. With its dual filter system, I can rest assured that it does not deposit any dust on my sensors and optics. I needed to make a small adjustment to both of mine. Specifically, I noticed that the air was only coming in and out of the nozzle, when it should be drawn in from the base and blown out the nozzle. A test for this is to squeeze all the air out, place your finger on the tip, then stop squeezing the bulb. If the bulb does not inflate while your finger is still on the tip, then you can do what I did to "repair" it (very easy) -- Remove the colored hexagonal-shaped plastic base, and you'll see a tiny round black rubber flap (about 3 or 4mm in diameter) on the inside surface of it. Using your fingernail, tiny screwdriver, etc., GENTLY pull up on the flap until it is "released" from the surrounding rubber - DO NOT REMOVE THE FLAP - that's it! Replace the hexagonal base back into the bottom of the bulb and it should work fine. Once in tip-top working condition, this blower is hard to beat. If it weren't for the tiny flap issue, I would have given it five stars.
