Turn your iPhone 6/6s/7/8 into a filmmaking device with the black iOgrapher Mobile Media Case. Made from durable polycarbonate and ABS plastic, this case sports a threaded ring that accepts lens attachments with 37mm diameter mounting threads. Its handles provide additional stability while the two accessory shoes at the top allow you to mount lighting and audio equipment for a complete filmmaking experience. An easy-in, easy-out clip system helps you quickly install your device. The included lens clip enables you to use iOgrapher lenses on your device's front and back cameras. In addition, you can mount the case onto any standard tripod, monopod, or portable dolly for stability via the 1/4"-20 thread at the bottom. A second 1/4"-20 threaded hole lets you film in portrait mode.

Mobile Media Case for iPhone 6/6s/7/8 (Black) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay but fundamentally flawed The case is well thought out with many mounting points for hot shoes and two good handles and a tripod mount. The fundamental flawed are really in the material choice with the cheap plastic and mouldings easily breakable. One of the cases i bought was coming apart within 2 hours of taking the phone in and out. If you buy this you have to be really careful of teething the phone in and out. One other issue is lining the lenses up so they don't vignette with the clip showing in the corners of the frame. The older cases with screw in lenses were much easier although with a bit of practice the clips can be lined up okay but with moving shots can easily move again and cover the frame which is far from ideal. I'd use this case if you want fixed point shooting for your phone with lots of space for accessories and are careful from the onset in taking the phone in and out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Save your money This is a pretty cheap case. Made of plastic, the unit I received had obviously not been inspected thoroughly before sending out to distributors. I had to use SuperGlue to put it back together properly. The iPhone is held in by a clipping device and that works well for now, but I wonder just how much stress it can tolerate from repeatedly inserting your iPhone and removing it. After all, it IS only plastic. Another feature I'm not happy with is the clip-on lens design. You don't just clip on the lens then start shooting. You have to carefully center its position over the iPhone lens to avoid clipping of the images you capture. This can take a moment or two until you get the hang of it. To switch from one lens to another, you first have to unclip the lens in use, unscrew it from its clip-on mount, then screw in the other lens, then mount it on the case, then carefully check to make sure it's centered, making whatever adjustments are necessary, THEN and only then are you ready to shoot again. This is not a design compatible with high-intensity workflow. Most other manufacturers seem to opt for a screw-on design, which is far superior, more precise and makes for a firmer attachment. The two iOgrapher-branded lenses I ordered with this product work well, no complaints there other than the tacky mounting system. The lenses do have screw-on mounts so I'll still be able to use them when I replace this turkey with something far better. The overall feel of the unit in operation is good but its cheap implementation in plastic and the clip-on lens mount should be points you carefully consider before buying. And there is that quality-control issue I began this review with. For occasional casual use, this might work for you, but if you look around a bit, you can really do far better with your money.
