Styled in a high-gloss finish, the Iberia Series C7 from Cordoba is a nylon-string classical guitar which combines the full, warm, and responsive tone of a red, Canadian cedar top with rosewood back and sides. This construction imparts the instrument with a lush, rich timbre and tight low-end response.
The C7’s mahogany neck, measuring 25.6” in scale, is outfitted with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard and mother-of-pearl side dot marker inlays for easier visual orientation. A two-way adjustable truss rod keeps the neck straight, while a bone nut and saddle bolster sustain and resonance on open strings.
Aesthetic touches abound, such as maple and ebony top purfling, maple back and side purfling, and Indian rosewood binding. A rosewood bridge affixes strings to the body, while at the headstock, Cordoba Back and Gold Tuning Machines with a 14:1 gear ratio offer precise tuning. A gig bag is provided to make transporting the guitar an easier task.
