The Cordoba 25C is a concert range ukulele with a solid acacia top and figured acacia back and sides. The acacia body, closely related to koa, lends a bright and round timbre to the instrument. Its 14.75” scale neck has been fashioned out of mahogany, sporting a rosewood fingerboard, 18 frets, and 4mm Pearloid dots at the fifth, seventh, 10th, and 12th frets. A rosewood bridge anchors strings to the body, while at the top, strings have been secured with black and silver open-geared tuners.
The instrument features aesthetic touches such as maple and ebony rope-style top binding, a herringbone rosette, and maple purfling. Its nut and saddle have been constructed out of bone to facilitate sustain and resonance at the open strings.
