Utilizing an exotic wood combination, the 25T from Cordoba is a ukulele with a solid acacia top and figured acacia back and sides. The acacia body, closely related to koa, lends a bright and round timbre to the instrument.
The neck, measuring 17” in scale, offers a composite fingerboard with 18 frets. Dotted inlays at the fifth, seventh, tenth, and twelfth frets provide a visual indication of where you are on the fingerboard. The nut and saddle are fashioned out of bone, while the bridge is constructed out of composite.
The instrument features aesthetic touches such as maple and ebony rope-style top binding, a herringbone rosette, and maple purfling. Its nut and saddle have been constructed out of bone to facilitate sustain and resonance at the open strings.
