Crafted with entirely solid woods, the 35T from Cordoba is a tenor-range ukulele in a natural gloss finish. It sports a solid acacia top, as well as solid acacia back and sides. This construction lends the instrument a clear and bright timbre to the instrument. With its Spanish-heel neck joint and fan bracing, the instrument's design has been inspired by Spanish classical guitars, and thus, this ukulele sports a greater resonance than many other models.
The neck, measuring 17” in scale, offers a rosewood fingerboard with 18 frets. The nut and saddle are fashioned out of Graph Tech TUSQ, a material designed to impart all the sonic characteristics of ivory without any of the problems of organic materials, tonal or ethical.
The bridge is constructed out of ebony, and aesthetic touches adorn the instrument, such as an abalone rosette around the soundhole and rosewood binding. The ukulele uses nickel Grover tuning machines with black buttons. A polyfoam case is provided with the instrument.
