Crafted with entirely solid woods and sporting a single, soft cutaway, the 35T from Cordoba is a tenor-range, acoustic/electric Ukulele in a natural and thinly-applied gloss finish. It sports a solid acacia top, as well as solid acacia back and sides. This construction lends a clear and bright timbre to the instrument, as well as beautiful figured design. With its Spanish heel neck joint and fan bracing, the instrument's construction has been inspired by Spanish classical guitars, and thus, this ukulele sports a greater resonance than many other models.
The neck, measuring 17” in scale, offers a rosewood fingerboard with 18 frets. The nut and saddle are fashioned out of Graphtech's TUSQ, a material designed to impart all the sonic characteristics of ivory without any of the problems of organic materials, tonal or ethical.
For electronics, the 30T-CE features an L.R. Baggs Five.O undersaddle pickup, specifically voiced for the ukulele's size and tone. The bridge is constructed out of ebony, and aesthetic touches adorn the instrument, such as an abalone rosette around the soundhole and rosewood binding. The ukulele uses chrome Grover tuning machines with black buttons. A polyfoam case is provided with the instrument.
