  • 1Description

The Mavic Pro Propeller Cage from DJI is specifically designed to protect people and objects from spinning propellers, improving overall flight safety. The aircraft becomes heavier after mounting it, but the flight time can reach 12 minutes, depending on conditions. The case is suitable for flying indoors, in areas with obstacles, and with Tripod mode enabled.

Note: This cage is not compatible with standard Mavic propellers (8330). Please use it together with the 7728 Quick-Release Folding Propellers (three pairs included).

    DJI CP.PT.000592 reviews

Propeller Cage for Mavic Pro Quadcopter is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safety at its best! How awesome to have this quadcopter with a protective cage!.Well made and fits great. The only issues are a shortened battery life but its worth it for the safety. We were able to catch it by hand and launch it from a boat many times. The props in the cage produce a fair amount more noise so that may be an issue to some.We filmed some cool scenes for a advertisement from looking down from the tree canopy, the guards make flying up close to trees possible like never before. I would order another for our next Mavic, the level of safety is great and we have tried other guards but this set offers far more coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works great I bought this for weddings, and events in case there should be some malfunction with hardware and or software etc. The cages work great, they do their job, and you can literally run them into people. The downside is reduced thrust and in high wind it basically makes your mavic a kite, I only know because I got it up in the air and had no control of the thing. I tried to fight it and nothing, and then I kicked sport mode on and, it helped a little but not much. But they do in fact make your flying with people around alot safer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed It arrived on time. Easy attachment. However ome of the cages is warped. Busted a blade. Tried to reform so new blade misses side, but will not hold shape. Expensive waste of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Safety first Quick and easy to install. Drone handles well. It does make the drone pretty loud.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really only for Indoor or Low to Ground Use I purchased this after crashing my drone while flying in really small/enclosed areas. For this purpose, these propeller guards really do their job. I am able to bump into walls/branches (Slowly, not at full speed) and the drone stays floating. The sonar on the front of the drone still works too, so thats also a plus. The cages attach on with a quick-release clasp, and I'm able to assemble them in about 5 minutes. I noticed some reviews talking about assembling using screws, but I did not have to screw in anything. Down sides though- The battery life is dramatically decreased. I am only able to fly the drone for about 10-12 minutes before it starts beeping. This is not suited for high-altitude flying. I flew it up in the air, maybe 200 feet, and it had a very difficult time fighting the wind, a problem I didn't face before attaching the cages. I noticed it was having trouble immediately and tried getting the drone to fly in a single direction, but it hovered in the same position for about 7 minutes, fighting the slight wind. The guards caused the drone to act like a kite, which was pretty scary considering I was flying it over a lake. They do not pack well. They are bulky and don't break down from their size. I am planning on going on a big Europe trip, and these cages are going to take up about the same amount of space as my entire drone, the chargers, 3 batteries and the controller combined. Also an important thing to note is that these propellers are different that the propellers that come with the drone. These are really only meant to be used with the cages, and the others should only be used without the cages. As I said, the cages are really only meant to be used when close to the ground, in extreme low-wind environments or in enclosed spaces. I was hoping it was something I could just constantly keep on the drone, but this is not the case.
